  • Thanks, everyone - you'll have me in tears today. Flippin' hormones! I'm not holding my breath for tomorrow, but thanks for the kind thoughts.

Mrs Moneypenny - yes, I'd love to cross stitch a dragon. I have a real love for fantasy inspired things so ...

This is what I'm working on at the moment, and this is one I've not too long finished. I just want another blue coloured one - preferably a dragon - to complete enough for 3 cushions on a sofa.

Wow, susan, what a thing to hear on a phone line!

    Hi Baby C

A big welcome to the thread, and a big congratulations on the forthcoming wedding, bet its a relief getting the dress sorted.

I've never heard of buying a present for hen weekend, - unless its another of the American ways coming across - sounds like the weekend costing an arm and a leg - give you pratice for yours!

Hows the calligrpahy coming on, I always thinks it looks so posh, and you can jazz anything up with it.

I think we should rename u bargian queen, - those savings are absolutly amazing, - weve got 3 clintons in town so have to have a peep.

you've said that magic word "Argos"......... I have managed a whole 24hrs without reserving anything!!! been a mini stalker last week.

With the challenges, just do what you fancy I always say treat it like a pick and mix.

    You take care cc
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Kithchen bunny - really hope work goes ok 2mor and not as bad expected, i'm sure speak from all of us, good, bad, moan, celebrate - were here for the lot, if theres anything u need just shout, sure one of us may have a solution, (if not I'll belly flop them for you!)

Susan - Thats fab news about Charlie - 3oz is a massive achievement, big hugs for him, and hope he goes on ok.

rufus - would say have u got a friend who can help with the holding the pattern or YD, the outfits sound fab. Sure your more organised in the background with presents in the cupboard

Susan - I had to smile 8 pancakes!! - its not every day, and as long as you enjoyed them. Hope the hospital appointment went ok today

Love the hospital and the computers, my friend works at college and 1 day week covers reception - she has her fb updated, catching up emails, easiest way to get in touch with her.

We had pancakes 2ngt - just boring lemon and sugar - can never get the choc spread to go right on them

Valentines day - really worried about the postman - he may just take all of the day for him to put them through the door! ok I can dream!!

My mother and her Soliders crush!! - thought we'd got through 24hrs - but no.... Miss hoodie brought herself a new phone, so said I'd pay for a cover fot her off Amazon - while your on Amazon can u just have a look at the Soliders CDS make sure I've got them all........

Then she spots a brand new DVD frm 2010 - coming home - that looks nice, so yes its now an extra mothers day gift.

i'm off out for lunch 2mor with an old flame.... just as friends.... we went out for 2 yrs in my early 20s - at the time work and I was going back to college got in the way - over the years our patchs cross, he's 3 yrs old, single, lives about 30 miles away, so off for lunch, go for a country pub.

    So will update 2mor....
    xxx

Sugarspun - glad the scan went well! What does Big Junior think??? Or does she not know yet?

She's delighted and telling everyone before I can :rotfl: I don't think she's clear on "new babies are very boring and can't play with you" but we'll get there.

Enjoy your lunch mum2one - I hope you'll hold his hand to cross the street ;)
