Hi all, hope we're all well.
Just a litle TCB update for those who may not know. I just updated my aps on my phone and Top Cashback has a new scheme - Snap & save. Basically if you buy a certain product you can take a pic of your receipt and send it to them and they will pay cashback for buying that item. As we all buy stuff in our weekly/monthly shop it will be a great way to build up the pot for Xmas etc.
For example (if you are buying Nutella 400g) it's on offer in Mr W for £1.42 or Mr T for £1.50 but send a pic of your receipt to TCB and get £1 cashback.
Of course only buy stuff that you normally would otherwise you'll be spending more than you get in return. There isn't to my knowledge anything yet that pays more than it costs but I'm sure there's an offer just around the corner for that to happen

HTH28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A0 -
I had a visit from a man in uniform.... 2 of them!! - the police - our neighbours kicked off earlier - 1st visit was cso (bloke and woman) then about 3 hrs later - a 999 response officer - seeing if everything was ok - apparently his inspector had suggested he come round to make sure we ok and not to forget to dial 999 anytime!
(did think my luck was in when dad answered the dr, - he came in and said theres a man in uniform to c u!) xx
So guess who could be having a fun ngt!! or should i say an early morning call! xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I felt like ringing them the other night Mum2one but wasnt sure if to ring them or council. We got new neighbours next to us, the house has been made into two flats and they are upstairs, their living room is next to our bedroom. They were banging with a hammer and drilling and shouting to each other till gone 12 the other night. YD was getting upset as she couldnt sleep and OH was grumpy, thought if anyone goes round there should be him not me. Dont like the look of them myself. In the end he just shouted really loud through the wall and they shut up.0

Rufus - hopefully the neighbours settle down, - surely they should realise if there in upstairs flat and urs isn't converted then there against bedrooms.
Sounds like its a private rental - if the noise does carry on 11pm is classed as cut off time - you'd need to go through environmental health. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Most police foces now operate a non emergency number 101. We used this when a friend's neighbours were making noise until they pleased and they came and sorted it out. It's a way of getting through to the police without being worried about clogging up the 999 lines28/04/11 - A bad day for shoppers everywhere (Tesco shoppers that is!) RIP DTD :A0

I've been peeping again at Argos clearance (lethal), but theyve seemed to have reduced stock quantities, but are adding a lot more items in, - good value kithen items.

We're having hunt the missing bag in the loft tomorrow, grandad hoodie put a bag up b4 xmas - didn't get it down, although got all the presents allocated to names online, I haven't bagged them yet, - so hoping I can still use a few presents, and car boot the rest.
So exicted when went to Argos they had the TY teddies and the lady found me ones saying "friends forever", Miss Hoodie has claimed them for her goody bags for her bday (not till sept!!)
Shes been a angel today, shes really got her screwed on - she brought a new phone, shes got a Samsung Y, but was worried about taking to football match incase anyone stole it, so she choose new phone Nokia £30 - (nokia Ash) looks more expensive than £30 - then down to Argos so she could buy Magasader 3, but it had to be the one with the free wig.
she's still got Xmas money left - at least shes sensible.
School Uniforms - Asda have started getting a good selection of school uniforms in - ours small clothing section had a wide range of sizes, know after Feb half term got to replace top to bottom. (good prices) Pack 2 polo shirts age 13/14 £4 - always go a size or so up if any shrinkage. They had some gorgeous dresses in, - they were too small for Miss Hoodie
Did ok for £22 - got 2 jumpers, 4 polo shirts, and 6 prs thick tights.
Hope everyone ok.
- Quick date check Mothers Day 10th March xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Well unproductive day yesterday, was told to go to connexions by college to speak to housing people for YD, told to go Monday between 1 and 4, got there and found its Tues and Thurs. Wouldnt have minded if it was in our town but was a drive to get there. Then OH dropped us at the hospital as midwife couldnt get any blood from her last week so told us to go there and get it done. Took a ticket and found we were 63rd in the line. Ended up waiting 1 hour 45 mins to get seen. At least that is out of the way. Now got to go to connextions again this afternoon to see what help they can give her.0

Hi everyone,
Rather late with January's challenge (in that it seems to be February...whoops) but here goes!

Done, more or less. Friends wedding gift to get on top of usual things, and big hen weekend too - does that require a gift?! Hopefully not as weekend alarmingly pricey!

Prescription / Over the counter / first aid kit.
All fine!
Miss Hoodies Corner

Me Time
Had plenty of this reading wedding mags/forums, so probably don't deserve anymore!
