well done Mrs Moneypenny, you are doing really well. I still havent really started on presents, been concentrating on these dresses for the wedding. What with all the other happenings in doors I cant get my head round much else at the moment.
  • im sure once the dresses are done and your head clears there will be plenty of time for other stuff. I bet the dresses will look beautiful when they are done.

Im dreading doing mine lol, it looks quite complicated. I have bought a book that shows me how to get a paper pattern to fit my body but not sure if I can do it by myself without someone helping me.

Lol fab! I think we're going with cupcakes so I might be asking for a big favour!!!! I shall be in touch!!

Sugarspun - glad the scan went well! What does Big Junior think??? Or does she not know yet?

rufus - noisy neighbours are one of the worst things to have. Hope it settles down!

Busy weekend visiting family in London, and went to the Harry Potter studios on Sunday - LOVED IT!!! Butterbeer was gorgeous! Not MSE, but hey.

Have almost finished the design for SIL's wedding cross stitch but I NEED to get on with it. Especially as framing takes almost 3 weeks at our local lady's place. Never framed one myself......

    Bit hello to everyone else!!

  • Wow, the dragon looks lovely. :) I'm looking for a dragon pattern (fantasy-styled) to make a cushion cover with - something preferably in blue but we'll see. :) Great work!

Making pancakes tonight - not so much for myself as I can take or leave them, but Mr KB is keen on them. I'll do a cheese & bacon pancake bake (a bit like a lasagne) and some sweet ones for him if he wants. I bought a jar of Value chocolate spread - he can have some of that with a banana.

Beyond that plans on hold until motivation sorts itself out. Today at work has been one of the worst for ages (hesitate saying that, as tomorrow will likely be worse!) and have no inclination to do anything. Sorry for being down but just can't feel good at the moment. Lots going on, lots of disruption and potential disruption, and I can't see the end yet.

  • are you thinking of cross stitching one KB? if so ill keep a look out for a pattern

i hope whatever it is sorts itself out for you and tomorrow is better than today

Kitchenbunny, I know what you mean about disruption, we have it here at home at the moment and it does get you down. Hope you sort things out soon and good luck on the cushion

Mrs Moneypenny, that dragon is really good, well done xx

Oh dear , I feel so ill . I just ate 8 pancakes.
The frying pan kept sticking so I wouldn't give the ugly ones to OH or DS until they were right. I have one to dog but he refused . So I ate them...:-(
    So much for diet

I love that welsh dragon and I'm going to look for kit and make it for my cousin ty for sharing money penny.

    Hi Rufus :-)

Hey kitchen bunny you're allowed to come on here and feel out of sorts. Keep your chin up and hopefully everything will be better tomorrow

I been to hospital today and was thinking to myself gosh those receptionists are so busy. Typing away on there pc's. hardly noticing people are waiting. They were very nice and apologised for keeping people waiting.... What were they doing?

Looking for holidays ...lol and comparing prices . It's amazing what goes on.
When I phoned the gas board yesterday I was on hold for 16 minutes only to be told , sorry we can't answer you phone the alarm has gone off and everyone has left the building. It must be a small building as I phoned straight back and they answered. Hahahahhah
