My lunch date never came off - sods law - he texted, he's been up all ngt sickness bug, - hes 4 yrs older than me, - but about 10 stone lighter!! He did say we'll have to rearrange, - see what happens.

Ladies (and gents) need your thoughts - extract from an email

It's not scheduled yet, but I will be in touch with you as soon as it is.
And in the meantime I am willing a lucky break to come your way.

Its a well know magazine, - it was in their online part of it, they were looking for people to reply to the editior - so I wrote to the editior, explained why I think I fit the criteria and this is what I got back. Is it yes your the one we've picked, your the one - or were contacting 100 people and you could be the one!!

I've emailed back to say that would be amazing thank you, - thought that way may get a more def answer xx

  • It is great to be back mum2one. Shame about your lunch date but i am sure another will be arranged very soon.

It is so great to have a clear mind now and looking forward to this years events.
  • Today hasn't been great, but it's over and that's the main thing. I was sat in my car waiting to get into the car park this morning and having a bit of a cry.

Thanks, Mrs MoneyPenny - I'm only about a third of the way through the horse one so this'll probably take the rest of the year. It's quite a landmark birthday though so I want to make it special for her.

Nectar points up to £9 worth now and into Feb ... if I can keep this up it'll be a great total come December. :)

Sorry about the lunch date, mum2one - hope it can be rearranged quickly :) Nice to 'meet' you, queenb1981

Had an Amazon voucher from Dooyoo today so bought Grandson a game with it for his birthday. Thats him out the way (beginning of March).

Also got myself a dressmakers dummy for nothing from Freegle, really happy with that as wanted one for years and years and its been something I thought I would just dream about.

rufus - thats brill re dressmakers dummy - they dont come cheap if you have to get one new.

The postman - he brought me 2 bills - but nearly nice - a 2 4 1 voucher for my fav posh pub - for as many as we book in for - so hoping can get a meeting with friends we had car off - b4 mid march, if not me and Miss Hoodie have a treat xx

  • Not a lot to report, but I did manage to get some more done on my cross stitch today. Mr KB threw me a bit of a curve ball yesterday though by saying he wants to get the pieces I've already done framed, but I had planned to gift them to Mum! Not sure what to do now!

I just realised I have a couple of birthdays next week for work colleagues, so I need to dig out some cards and write them this weekend. Other than that there's not a lot happening this month (thankfully!)

    Hope everyone is well.
