Hello again....I'm slinking in at the back and hoping nobody realises I'm here!!!!! Where oh where has my motivation gone???? Having got to my first goal, then three pounds under, it's been creeping back up again but I don't know how to put the brakes on! Why do I do this to myself???

I've been reading but not posting, so well done to you all for sticking to it!! I have decided that when the kids go back to school next week I'm going to join a WW class (I still have the online thing going as it's only £10 a month) as I really really really need a big kick up the bum!!!! In the meantime, you guys will have to be my conscience and help me get my mojo back!

On the upside, I have to keep telling myself that I'm a stone and a half lighter than this time last year. A few weeks back, my daughter left her flute on the stairs and I didn't see it - my heel landed on it and I went flying, grabbing the banisters and wrenching my back as I went, which means I've been achey and grumpy, not able to exercise, and generally comfort eating to cheer myself up. SO. It has to stop and I HAVE to get back to WW, because I quite literally have NOTHING to wear ie one pair of jeans which are fine except for the waistband which is tight so I can only wear them with a long top, but guess how many of those I have???? yup, one!!!!! So I really need clothes, but MUST get some weight off before I can justify spending anything on clothes.

So, here I go again.........I will try to post everyday, even if no one's around as it may help keep me on track.

Hi mind if I join in?
I've been going to WW since Jan 2012.
I lost 24lb then plateaued but kept going.
Then dad got ill and died last month so I went off the rails for a while.
I rejoined 2 weeks ago a few lbs heavier but lost 2.5lb last week.

My WI is on a Tuesday, I haven't been too good this week, currently on -8pp but still hoping for a minor loss!

I'll take a bit of time to read back over the thread to see where everyone is and how you're all getting on

Well, it's weigh in day for me, but as I'm on holiday for half term, I'm going to have to find a meeting here in sunny yorkshire... Am reasonably confident that I've lost, but wish me luck! If I can even find a weigh in I can get to... Problem is my mum, who the kids and I are staying with, thinks WW is a ridiculous idea and I should just do it on my own. Have fairly conclusively proved that that doesn't work, but I need her to watch 3 kids while I go get weighed...

Hi mysk-g - good luck with finding a meeting and your WI but take it with a pinch of salt (if the scales don't show a loss).
I know WW claim the scales are calibrated but there are 2 metings here I attend - one exactly matches my own scales, the other is 2lb consistently over my scales.
I have tried going on my own - slimming world on line, tesco online diets but I really do need the discipline of a weekly WI.

I'm off for WI at 5.30pm and hoping to lose but won't be too disappointed if I gain or STS

See you on the other side

I lost 2.5lbs, which I'm really pleased with as I was about 6 points over for the week :-) means I've lost half a stone in the last 2 weeks, and I'm starting to notice the difference now :-)

If I don't have the discipline of the tracking and the weigh ins, my efforts quickly go to pot, so I really need to go every week! Mum huffed a bit but was fine at me nipping out to one at lunchtime, so we're all good :-) need to read this weeks booklet though. And I was really good at lunchtime, we went to a cafe and I had baked potato, no butter, no salad dressing and beans with no cheese. It was the largest, most gigantic potato I've EVER seen (apart from the one on Mum's plate LOL!) and I disciplined myself to only eat half of it as that's what I'd budgeted for point wise. 2 weeks ago, I would have finished it and the kids leftovers as well. And it's 2.30pm now an I'm still really stuffed so obviously what I ate was enough... Despite being half what I woul normally eat (we ate at 12 and then took an hour to wander home...)

Hope your weigh in this evening goes well, Joanne!

    Well done MSG.
I put on 1.5lb which I put down to giving up alcohol and giving myself little "treats" for doing so.
Anyway, new start, 49 shiny new weeklies to play with and I'm out of the blocks!
    Here's to tracking and water!

""A few weeks back, my daughter left her flute on the stairs and I didn't see it - my heel landed on it and I went flying, grabbing the banisters and wrenching my back as I went. ""

I went flying down the stairs a few years ago.

I was 36 weeks pregnant and had my stair carpets professionally cleaned and scotchguarded.
The following week I went into hospital for an emergency caesar (twins) and was discharged 3 days later.
Two days post discharge I was going downstairs in the early hours for some milk and slipped on the bright shiny stairs and fell all the way to the bottom.
My abdo wound burst open along one side and I was carted off to hospital to have my innards re inserted.
On the upside, I did manage to catch up on my sleep...

Yes, it will be free. The one I made is off e source and contains skimmed milk and low fat philly (100g) I think that's where the points come in
