Well I'm back from my hols and think I'm a couple of pounds heavier than when I went - oops:o

I've been good all week even though my WW membership has expired whilst I've been away. I had a voucher code to renew that hasn't been accepted on the site so I'm waiting on them replying to me about it so I'm having to write everything down rather than log it on my phone app which is a right pain!:mad: I thought they would get back to me quite quickly but I've been waiting 2 days already - hey ho.

I know you ladies are all doing the weightwatchers program but are you all members? and if not how are you recording everything? (I need to write it all down as it then keeps me on the straight and narrow). If I could find a free program that I could record the points on it would be a big help and cheaper too ;)

    I joined weight watchers tonight.
Been doing slimming world & had a good loss, but more or less stayed the same (up & down a few pounds at a time) the past year.
I was very motivated when I had a lot to loose & I did SW more like WW I imposed my own limits, but when youve done that & loose the desperation because you dont feel so fat its hard to feel motivated when people talk every week about the huge portions they eat & it just doesnt work like that for you........
Going on holiday in 5 months, want 2.5 stone gone by then :-)

I've been exactly the same in the past, been desperate at the beginning as feel horrible and bursting out of clothes but then as I lose some and feel better the same hunger isn't there - excuse the massive pun!! :rotfl: This time around I'm trying to visualise the end result and where I'd really like to be as I think I've not even let myself think that far before, holding myself back and thinking its probably not going to be achievable. I seem to have a different attitude this time so hopefully that'll win through, fingers crossed! :D

I've lost 1.8lb this week, really pleased that I've had a steady loss now every week for five weeks - I've two weeks to go until a hen do at the end of the month and 2.5lb to the stone I wanted off as my target for then. Wish me luck, I'm determined, got it at the front of my mind and hitting the gym as often as possible.

I've been doing SW for the past 12 weeks and I've only lost half a stone (I do have quite a lot to lose). I don't feel the class I go to is all that good, the talk is mainly about people's gain or loses. To be honest, I don't really have a clue what I'm doing, I feel we are thrown in at the deep end, a quick 5 minute talk, then get on with it. I know half a stone is damn good for me, but surely my loss should be more? Is the WW class different to this? I really could do with listening to other people's stories, maybe meals they have tried etc.

If you have done both SW and WW, which one have you lost the most weight on?

Is membership free at WW at the moment?

    Thanks

The WW class I've chosen (only been once) had a discussion at the end about what people found helpful, and she did a bit on how to adapt your favourite recipes to be lower points. The membership was half price, £11.95 for a month.

I know exactly where I want to get to, I got down to 11.10 last time I did WW and I have the most gorgeous dress that I looked amazing in. I want to wear it again :-) I have a photo somewhere of me wearing it, must dig it out and pin to the fridge :-)

Just finished breakfast, instead of my normal 4 slices of toast and the kids leftover cereal, I had 1 slice of toast and fruit salad with low fat yogurt. I can't bring myself to give up bread entirely, even though I'm fairly sure it makes me bloated... Getting the kids leftovers in the bin rather than eating them was a major achievement :-) have lunch planned already, wrap with the leftovers of last nights Moroccan lamb. Normally there wouldn't have been any leftovers! OH gone off with a healthy packup for the 4th time this week, this might even save us money as well!

Aldi shop today, lots more fruit and veg required.

The leader did mention increased fertility as a side effect of weight loss, after 3 in 5 years I want to opt of this one!

Well I took myself off to weightwatchers tonight and I've lost another 1.5lbs which I'm really pleased about after my week away.

I still haven't decided how I'm going to proceed from here ...either doing it by myself (and this thread;)), just using ESource or if I need to do the weekly meetings still....

    Oh decisions, decisions!!

I really like 0% fat Greek yogurt, can't remember the brand but it's a flatter round tub instead of a tall one and it has the consistency of cottage cheese. Amazing. :)
