2013 WW Goals..........

Hey there,

I am going to be going back to WW on Saturday AM.

Was looking to join a thread for WW support but cant find one for 2013.

Anyone else going to be doin the same?

I have done WW before, never got to goal & for some reason I feel 2013 is the year for me to acheive this.

I've been doing WW online since 14th October. I had lost 16.6lbs but put some of that back on over Xmas. I really need to get back into the routine now and start losing again. My online membership is due to expire mid January so not sure whether I will continue with it or start going to meetings.

There was a WW thread last year but not many people were using it. Hopefully we can keep this one going!
3 stone down, 3 more to go
  • 16.6lbs is brilliant!!!

I just need to get a grip with it I know that I am eating all the wrong things but I just cant seem to help myself sometimes.

I am definately going to stick to the WW meetings cos I do think they help.

I got my monthly pass & it said there is a new folder so a completely fresh start is what I need.

I joined a WW class @ work, in March, & lost a stone.
I then moved offices, long story - not my choice, and couldn`t get to class.
I found a local class on a Friday evening, but have only been once, before christmas.

I want to go back on Friday evening & this time I`m going to stay to the talks.

I`ve weighed at home & have put some on, but not LOTS - mainly due to gym sessions twice a week, well upto beginning of Dec anyway.

  • Good for you honey - I am so lazy I hate the gym so just gonna up my walking to see if that helps.

I will be WI on Saturday morning so will update you all with the starting weight then.

    Hi,
I joined on-line at the end of June......does this mean my membership will expire at some point???? I just assumed it keeps going as long as the monthly fee is paid. I lost a stone but had pnuemonia over the summer hols and haven't been upto it over the autumn....am planning on getting back on the WW wagon when the kids go back to school on Monday. I'd like to get another stone off, and then maybe half a stone more.
  • I think it does just continue on until you cancel it - They are pretty good at keeping you upto date though so they would email you if it was due to cancel.

You're right. It does continue until you cancel it. I joined up with a special offer from Groupon for 3 months membership and haven't decided whether I am definitely going to continue with it after the 3 months. If I don't want to then I will have to cancel it. Just didn't explain myself very well, sorry!

I am thinking of going to meetings. I've done them before and enjoyed the social side of it so may give that a go again.

Good luck with getting back on it. I'm finding it hard even after less than a fortnight away from it but i know I need to get back into a routine asap otherwise I will end up putting back all the weight I had lost and more besides!

I'm going to join up next Wed I had been hoping my meeting that I was looking at attending was open today but its probably best that its not as we didn't get round to having our new yr day steak pie yesterday so its for tonight's dinner with all the usual roast stuff lol. And vienetta for dessert
