So 30 weigh ins, 2 lbs per week, 60 lbs or 4 stone! Doable?

I'd say it was doable but ambitious. I started on October 14th and was aiming for a stone before Xmas. I managed to lose 16.6 lbs but have unfortunately put a few pounds back on. I think if I'd aimed to lose more than a stone and failed then I would have felt like a failure and it would have demotivated me.

I don't do much exercise and need to. If you're exercising and dieting then you are more likely to lose an average of 2 lbs a week, but I still think it's a lot. I'm going to a wedding on September 14th and am aiming to have lost another 2 stone by then. Anything over and above that would be a very welcome bonus.

2.5 lbs is neither here nor there and I am sure you wil lose it quickly. I put more than that on over Xmas. I originally joined online for 3 months and am thinking of starting meetings next week. There is one on a Saturday morning that I used to go to so am thinking of going back there. Hopefully it will get me out of the bad habits I've gotten into over Xmas and back on track!

  • 2lbs a week is achievable but only if you are very strict & exercise.

I am a lazy sod so I need to get myself moving more.

2.5lbs gain since November is nothing & that will come off quickly for you.

I went back to WW this morning & put on 3.5lbs since I was last there at the beginning of December so not too bad. ]

    Current Weight is 13st 2.5lbs.

First goal is to get back into the 12's!!

Hopefully do that next week but we shall see

SNAP!!!! I got down to 12.12 and have stayed there give or take a couple of pounds, but now that Xmas is over I'm at 13.2

Goal no.1 is back into the 12s!!! Then it's the 10% which is 12.6 (if I recall correctly) then into the 11s........!

I have been playing with the new info on the website and bought the latest magazine, and today popped to Tesco to get a few bits for the next few days so I can be up and running on Monday! Monday is my weigh in day (at home, I'm an on line member)

The trouble I have is a bad back.....I always used to excerise to kep slim, but thesedays I have trouble doing much good exercise, though I intend to swim once a week and get my pilates dvd out to start with. I hope that losing more weight will help with my back and then I will be able to do more exercise!

As an aside, a friend has lost 9lbs this week!! Not WW but a calorie control app, but last time she did it she only had about 800 calories a day! So, I'm trying not to be envious, but part of me wonders how on earth that's anyway near sustainable!!!! I'm much happier doing WW and knowing that by getting it off steadily it's more likely to stay off long term.

I lost 6.4 lbs on my first week on this in October. My previous record is half a stone but 9 lbs is a hell of a lot. Can't help being jealous also though! :D

I am having a debate with myself whether to sign up online with the cashback site offer which ends tomorrow - no pressure. Its my birthday on 15 January and thats my excuse at the minute. I've got a lot of weight to lose and havent followed any plan or even thought about it for over a year as I have had other health issues. Now I'm back on an even keel I feel I would really like to lose some weight. Oh dear what to do
  • Blooming nora will take me till March to lose 9lbs!!!

But 800 calories a day is not healthy will end up causing more problems & the weight will just go back on cause you cant live on that many calories per day forever.

Slow & steady wins the race.

I'm quite happy to be the snail LOL

I think its just the thought of not being able to eat what I want etc and the discipline I will need to have.
