Well ladies, its Saturday morning and I'm off to the gym and actually quite looking forward to it, what's happened to me??!! I have new trainers which are aiding the quest, they're so bouncy I can't drive in them as I can't feel the pedals properly! lol Have a great day and stick at it x0

Wow, there have been some great posts since I last checked in!
Hi to all the new people (and returning people). So far I have loved WW and it's really working for me.
This week I have only lost 0.7lb, but that doesn't surprise me, as my weight loss seems to follow a pattern of larger loss followed by some smaller ones. A loss is still a loss, I say.
To answer some questions I've seen around, based on what I have experienced: yes, you can still mess up by eating junk and staying in your allocated points. The weeks I eat a little more rubbish I notice less of a loss (though still a loss) but more importantly it's sticking with the old habits. I'm trying to view WW less as a diet and more as a complete overhaul. I don't plan on gaining when I reach my goal, which seems to be fairly common, and the only way I am going to achieve that is to eat healthy food the majority of the time. I think it's completely unrealistic to tell myself I won't touch certain food again, especially if I love it, and that's where WW comes in, becaus it allows you to have a bit of what you fancy (and I refuse to label food as good or bad; it adds psychological attachments I'm not sure are healthy).
Working out and loss - the working out wont necessarily make you lose (in fact, if you are using weights, you may gain when you lay on lean muscle), but it will help it's the longer term goals of leading a healthy lifestyle (I've found making my goals about being healthy as much, if not more motivating than the visual "getting slimmer") and it will also help to make you more toned, and less likely to have to deal with floppy skin later on along your weight loss journey.
Personally, I've not worked out as much this week as I would usually (I've done three weight/floor sessions and three shorter running sessions) and I've really felt like I am missing out (overdid it on the weights on the third day so I've been in too much pain to run...lol).
Okay, enough rambling from me. Back to it this week, with a few goals (no junk meals at all this week, just clean eating until Saturday, when I get one of my mother's homemade pasties!), and at least four treadmill stints/three weight sessions. Have a good week everyone!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 #1947 (open the pot on 28th November 2013!)

I've lost 1.8 pounds this week. That only puts me at one pound less than I was 4 weeks ago but I'm pleased because it has hopefully taken me out of this yo-yo/plateau phase. I've lost 30 pounds in all and am averaging around a pound a week.3 stone down, 3 more to go0

Thank you for your post Gardenia some very valid points, I enjoyed reading it
I've dipped into the community boards on the WW website but I think generally what we post here is more in depth and there are definitely a few trolls lurking on there...
Well done Noel that's brilliant :T0 -
Well it's a couple of weeks since I checked in and I'm pleased to report a 3.5lb loss which takes me to my 2 stone :j and just in time for my hols too.:T (28lbs at meeting + 5lbs doing it myself first)
A quick question for you ladies....I know I can't track fully whilst I'm away as I won't have access to eSource etc but how do I show a weeks holiday on it when I come back??
Hoping for a loss whilst I'm away as I'll be in and out of the pool all day every day
See you all soon

Well done that's fab! You must be so pleased. I've lost 1.2lb this week so that's 8.4lb now in three weeks, really happy with that and hoping to keep up the momentum by tracking everything and regular exercise :A
Not too sure with your question re hols - I know it lets you look back on days so maybe you can just work backwards like that if you're going to keep a paper record? That's if you want to do that, if you just leave it blank it will let you pick up when you come back and start again then - I use the Iphone app and that lets you add notes when you enter weights so you could put hols in there if you wanted to, not sure whether online works the same.
Have a fab holiday! :beer:0 -
Hey everyone. Hope you had a successful week. I've lost. 1.7lb this week, which was better than I expected so I'm really pleased. Takes me to a total loss of 2 stone and 2.9lb lost!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 #1947 (open the pot on 28th November 2013!)

4.8 pounds off for me this week, taking me to a total loss of 34.8 pounds. I think I will almost certainly regain all or part of it as that's what usually happens in the weeks I have a good loss and then I struggle for a few weeks afterwards.
Would be more than happy to be proved wrong though!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Hi there,
1st weigh in and I was 11st 4.5lbs. I wasn't able to go to my second class as away on holiday all of last week so it'll be this Thurs evening to see if I've lost anything.
It was hard sticking to points etc whilst on hols so I tried to chose healthy options, cut back and exericse as much as poss. Pleased to say (by my home scales) I didn't put any weight on. So from today i'm being religious with sticking to my 26 points and trying to walk the dog 3 times a day for minimum of 20mins which she is pleased about
Well done everyone on their losses. I really hope come Thursday the scales have gone down for me!0 -
Hey my lovelies,
I see that you are all doin so well & welcome to the new members.
I went back to WW, First WI lost 2lbs, 2nd WI lost 1/2lb.
After my WI on Saturday I had a mad binge cos I was disappointed of only losing 1/2lb but now I am gutted cos I am probably gonna gain this week - why oh whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!
Been back on track today.
Hopefully can reign it in a bit.
Start Weight for me this time 13st 12lbs
Current Weight 13st 9 1/2lbs
Total Loss 2 1/2lbs
Its a start I suppose.
Been on the look out for some new recipes aswell & I made the curried butternut squash soup which was delish!!!
It is zero PPs for the whole lot but I had 1/2 of it in one serving so was 1PP.
It says it should serve 6 but I'm not so sure - or maybe I should start using a smaller bowl LOL
