2013 WW Goals..........

Lost just over half a pound this week. Very annoying how some weeks I lose loads and then the next hardly anything. Guess this is common though, and at least I am noticing a pattern in how I am losing. Not to mention, at least it is still a loss! Was out with a friend yesterday, so had a meal out, a cupcake, and a beer. And still lost. Had to buy clothes down a size and it seems like those are too big now. Hooray!
Where's everyone else?! Hope you all did well this week!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 #1947 (open the pot on 28th November 2013!)

I lost 0.4 pounds so you've done better than me! I did think I'd lost 3 pounds overnight but then realised that the scales were on a slightly different part of the floor.
I weighed myself in Boots just to check that it came out at a similar number to my scales, which it does.
It's nice when your clothes are too big isn't it! I seem to be at a funny stage where some of my new clothes are getting a bit big but some clothes in the same size are still a little bit small. Trying to just buy the odd thing as I have quite a lot of sizes to go down by before I'll have lost enough weight!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Tell me about it! Feels like such a waste spending much on clothes at the moment. I'm trying to get by with cheap purchases for work and just getting by with too-big tops the rest of the time!
Well done on your loss - any is better than a gain!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 #1947 (open the pot on 28th November 2013!)

I don't seem to have lost much weight from my top half. I'm top heavy anyway and wear quite loose tops. It's at the back of trousers I'm noticing the difference as they're quite baggy in the bum and at the top of my legs.
I've got a few nights out coming up and don't really have anything suitable to wear but don't want to spend too much. i've also got a wedding to go to in mid September but am hoping to have lost quite a bit more by then and don't mind spending a bit more than usual for that.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Where's everyone else? It's awfully quiet on this thread. Don't give up, people!
This week I have lost 1.3lb, taking me to a total loss of 1 stone and 12.5lb down. Still quite a way to go before I am happy but I am insanely pleased to have gotten this far, and much quicker than I anticipated. Doing lots of exercise makes me feel great too (changing it up a bit this week again, which keeps me motivated too). Hope everyone else has done well this week!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 #1947 (open the pot on 28th November 2013!)

I'm still here! Well done on losing again. I've put on 0.6 pounds this week, even though I've been 'good'. However, I am noticing a pattern whereby I will occasionally get a really 'good' weight loss, ie 3 pounds or more, without thinking that I've stuck to the plan that well that week. Then invariably for a week or 2 afterwards I either stay the same or regain some. Then I start losing again. I'm trying to bear that in mind to stop me getting discouraged when I stay the same or gain.
I definitely need to do more exercise though. Not just to help with the weight loss but to help with my overall well being.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

Aw, that's still not bad though and you have the right attitude about it. I am noticing a pattern with mine too, and it doesn't really seem to have that much to do with how much I exercise or what I eat in any given week, as long as I have eaten under my total.
The exercise is my favourite bit, and I never, ever thought I would say that. I feel so good afterwards. What did it for me was buying a treadmill. Single best investment ever!
Looking forward to tomorrow's weigh-in. Fingers crossed I'm closer to the two stone loss!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 #1947 (open the pot on 28th November 2013!)

Yay, so glad I found this thread, can I join please??
I've done WW so many times in the past, usually quite successfully but never quite got to goal. Lately the weight has been creeping on due to cosy nights in on the sofa and too many meals out, also thinking I can eat the same amount as my OH!!
I've reset myself up online and my first WI was last Tues and I'd lost 6 lb 2 so was really chuffed with that! :j I've got several stones to lose - at least three but not trying to think too much about that as it'd be daunting! First aim is to lose a stone and I want to do that by the end of next month as I'm going away on a hen do then - we're going to Center Parcs so it'll involve getting into a swimming costume
I've been going to the gym lately which is not something I was doing the other times I've done WW so I hope this will tip the balance in my favour - I used to walk to work but we moved offices and its now too far and I have to drive so I'm determined to get some more exercise into my daily routine.
Hi Noel :wave:0 -
Hi emajune...seems like it's just me and noel on here on a regular basis, so yes, we'd love you to join in...the more the merrier, and it will keep us motivated.
Seems like you know what you're doing too, so good luck with your goals!
I'm pleased to report I am another 2lb down this week, taking me to 2 stone and a half pound loss overall. Pretty good going in around three months, I think!
This week I have added weights back into my work out routine and I'm definitely feeling it. Looking forward to the next few weeks as I'm now focusing on losing that third stone. I have no real end goal in sight...hopefully when I get lower I will see the finishing line in sight. I think once I get to a size 12 I will know where I'm at (I'm currently hovering between a size 14 and 16).
Hope you've had a good week, noel!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 #1947 (open the pot on 28th November 2013!)

Hi Noel
Hi there. Recognised your username from the 'no buying unnecessary toiletries' threads. Hardly been on there recently but have been good. Not using much up but buying very little also. I did pop in a while ago and will try to remember to jump on board in May.
Welcome to this thread. It's nice to get some new blood as it does seem to have been just me and Gardenia for quite a while.
Well done on your first week's loss. It is a great feeling when you get a good loss in your first week. I know I lost 6.4 pounds my first week and was really chuffed.
I've got a 50th (friends' not mine), a hen night and a wedding coming up over the next few months and I am keeping that in mind when I get discouraged (which is often lately!)3 stone down, 3 more to go0
