STS despite earning lots of activity points and having light meals such as beans on toast (one slice no butter) this week.

Onward and onward, next week has to be better!

Keep your chin up chick......you'll reap your reward next week I'm sure;)

I'm not feeling too confident myself this week for my WI tomorrow, as I've been feeling a bit ropey, even though I've been good only using 4 of my 49 extra points.......hey ho!

ps. my little cold that made me feel ropey has developed into full blown Man flu now I've shared with DH!!:rotfl:

Well I'm pleased to report another weight loss this week....it's half a pound but at least I'm still going in the right direction....albeit very slowly ;)

Hmm, I put on half a pound this week, but considering the hell that was half term and a new kitchen being fitted (hence eating out a lot), I think that is very respectable! Back on it now though, in a new kitchen that is a joy to cook in - presents it's own challenges! Although OH is behind me all the way now, and when we had dominos last night he made me point it all up and I managed to get away with only using 6 of my weeklies and I still felt really full. I think I'm getting used to eating less, or maybe listening more to my body's cues? Any which way, I'm more hopeful of a loss this week. But I am sat here in size 12 jeans!!!! Been a while since these puppies saw the light of day (2 children ago...) they are quite tight (OH's slightly less complimentary remark of "not so much a muffin top as a farmhouse loaf" earned him a flick with the towel). But they do up!

Been trying to move more this week as week, so been gardening this evening rather than slumped on sofa. Tied the peas up, planted out the tomatoes, weeded the leeks and parsnips, counted my raspberry canes (34 with buds on so many many raspberries coming my way soon - I had half this last year and I was picking 2lbs a week for about 2 months, we're just finishing the jam now). Going to start the couch 2 5k thing again, being nagged to enter the Badminton Horseless Team event in Octobwr, which is 5 miles cross country, over the steeplechase course at Badminton and I really want to do it.

    Onwards and upwards!

    Morning all,

Since I last posted I have WI twice, first time lost 2.5lbs last week put on 1lb - TOTM  I have my next WI tomorrow morning and I don't feel too confident TBH. Had a meal out on Friday for our anniversary and last night had a takeaway as spent so long in the garden neither DH or I could be bothered to cook!

    Must try harder!

Weighed in this morning - lost 4.5lbs which is just amazing, to get me a silver 7 and my 5% in one go :-) am overjoyed and am NOT going home to polish off the kids leftover bread & butter pudding from last night, they can have it for tea instead. Money saving as well :-) have 33 points a day now, used 17 so far today, so 16 points left for tea :-)

Well done!! You must be so pleased!!

I joined a group last week, and have gone for the monthly pass, so logged on tonight and swapped from my online to monthly pass membership. Having said that, I face my first WI tomorrow and I'll be amazed if I've lost ANYTHING!! I have eaten every point this week (27 plus the weeklies) but have also exercised(started zumba and been twice plus an ex dvd) and I usually find that I don't lose much if at all when I exercise.

BUT I have bought a journal, so tracking the 'old fashioned' way and maybe this week will be easier and as my body gets used to the exercise the loss might follow.

I've also plateaued since xmas or so, been up and down this half stone, and so need to get past it and break into the 11 stone something bracket!!! Fingers crossed for WI, but loss or not, I have definitely lost something round my middle as my 'farmhouse loaf' in my jeans has lost a few slices....:rotfl::rotfl:

Sorry not to report in sooner, but I do read your updates on my phone, I just find I only put the laptop on every few days xx

So, I STS this week, which is OK......I have been to zumba and exercised at home and experience tells me I don't lose the first week I get back on the exercise wagon, so this week I need to track religiously, make some healthier choices and use my points sensibly, and hopefully I'll see a loss next week.

Hope everyone is doing ok xx

It's not weight on! And I did track absolutely everything that went past my lips, I am weaning a baby at the moment so I get quite a bit of her food, one way or another - everything goes on my tracker! I normally guess 1PP per meal if I've been feeding her solids with a meal. But actually, I ate every point including weeklies last week and my exercise ones as well, and still posted a good loss. I think if you eat too little, your body stops burning fat as it thinks you are starving...

    A better week this week...lost 3 & 1/2 lbs :j

That's taken me below my next stone and I earned another silver 7.

Used my pedometer all this week and so far so good....I've had the week off work so don't think it will be a true reading of my activity yet but has shown that I'm much more active at the weekend....will see what happens when I'm back at work next week:)

Gah! Any words of encouragement? I'm having a horrible week, 3 days to weigh in and I've already eaten all my weeklies and 10 exercise points as well... I made chocolate brownies with the children and ended up eating most of them myself, and have simply lost the plot since then. Only saving grace is that I am grimly recording everything still... And am not in negative yet, but still got the weekend to go! Luckily large amounts of gardening and housework need doing so some movement there but I don't think I have much hope of a loss this week :-(
