  • I like the weight tracker on the app and website as it's handy. You can see it as a table or as a chart too, which is really motivating when the line is going down.

    Hi everyone.

I joined online on Saturday through quidco. I would like to loose a stone possibly a little more although I think a stone is more realistic. I would just like to ask what else you use the website for as so far I have just used it to track my food and any activity. Oh I have also made the autumn vegtable soup which was very nice and filling for 2 points.
    Thanks

Hello Dieselberry i only joined ww online myself last week but i have found the online community on there helpful, there is a lot of encouragement and help with general questions about points etc and some good tips. I think someone said it's cliquey but i just ignore that and post anyway if i have a question.
    Good luck with your weightloss.

I still am not on plan - Think my mind is in denial right now but I am half way there so I promise that I will join you all soon enough.

  • i'm pleased with my weigh-in, I lost 1.5 lbs this week. it wavered down to the next lb so close to 2. I enjoyed helping at the meeting too so it's been good today. I still haven't made that soup, but I went for a looong walk and earned 5 points on the pedometer. :-)

Hello Dolly (that was on this week I think!) I'm sure you'll be back into it soon, don't worry!

Well done losers:T some really good losses there!!

I'm joining you this week as I lost 1 pound :) which considering I've had a couple of bad days I think is pretty good :D Trousers do feel a little looser but that's down to my return to Zumba, really helps with the flab toning ;)

Hoping to stay fully on track today, this cold weather doesn't do me a lot of good as I want to eat stodge :(

Dolly Rocker - I'm like you, mind is not fully focused at the moment but we will keep trying won't we ;) ?

Morning all!!! I totally agree that the cold weather tempts you into the land of comfort/stodge eating!!! I found on Sunday, I nibbled a lot (pointed it all tho and had plenty of weeklies to use) and it was partly because it was chilly indoors!!

I've been very good today, I went for a long walk after the school run, then came home and did the 30 day shred (badly!!) then some of a pilates dvd to stretch. I have no intention of doing this more than once a week - I have a bad lower back and don't want to go mad - but I figure it might help things along a bit. As it gets warmer I will go for a swim once a week too.

My friend is picking me up a ne Eat Out book tomorrow - not that we eat out much (though DH does for work, he's a sales director so is forever wining and dining) and I'm meeting a friend at Starbucks next Friday for a catch up, so I thought if I'm prepared I can have a pannini type thing for lunch and still stay on track!

Have a good day everyone! xx

After me saying that the leader at my meeting didn't discuss goals, I got a letter today with a note saying what my 5%, 10% and ultimate goals should be. I feel as though I've gone backwards in a way, as I had already achieved my 5% last year when I was doing it online. If I reach the 'new' 5% then I will have actually reached the 'old' 10%, if you see what I mean. It's also a bit confusing as online it is still counting from last October. However, I started meetings because I needed a kick start and it makes sense to treat it as a new start without forgetting that I did lose a stone last year and have kept it off!

    Hope everyone is doing OK.
3 stone down, 3 more to go
  • hi Noel, nice of them to send the letter. If the end goal is the same then I think having as many mini-goals as possible is good. There wasn't a 5% when I lost weight originally but I can see the logic and I think any recognition and getting a sense of achievement helps to keep me on course for my ultimate goal.

    Hope this helps,
    WBF
