Repeat after me ...... I do not need a beautiful fancy binder .... I do not need a beautiful fancy binder .... Ohhhhh some of their stuff is lovely :o

It is!!!! But, I will point out that I haven't bought anything this year!!! :p :T I love the idea of their diaries, but I find I duplicate too much if I use them.....I have their meal planner & shopping list on the fridge which is fab tho, and I have about a ten year supply of their stickers!!!!!!

My household manual is one of their old 'notes and lists' folders which I have in one of the A5 zip round covers they do. I use the little address book, tucked in the front pocket, and the stickers live in the back pocket. I then customised the sheets and use the dividers from the Pukka Pads (A5 size) which have little pockets in to. My sections (labelled with my fab labelling machine!!...yes, I know, I'm sad!) are

    To do
    Budget
Household (meal ideas/tradesmen cards/copy of bin collection etc)
    B'days/Xmas
    Car Info
    Kids (brownies info/parties etc)

My main challenge is finding a diary which I like......having been a filofax girl, I started to find that I only used the diary bit of one (what's the point in having addresses in there AND an address book?) I treated myself to a Mum's Office diary for this year, (it doesn't have a big address section) but I'm not liking it in action, so I bought a new one in Poundland on Monday....one page per day (doubles up for Sat/Sun) and no address section! I thought it might be better to combine a diary which was big enough to use as a diary AND have room to right my to do list as well, again to save duplicating......trouble is, I haven't been organised enough this week to get round to writing in it!!!

clearly, then I had to I pop to Staples to get some new pens to write in it with :o

    BTW, I'm a teacher by trade......and I LOVE stationary/pens/organisers..........if only this meant I was organised!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This is why I've ended up going with the printables as I've been able to tailor it :T but .... stickers ... I've been looking for stickers!

  • someone say staples? I loooooove staples.
The other day I dug out an old slimline filofax, forgot how much i love the smell and feel of kid leather. i stopped using it because, as per usual, the inserts werent quite right for me but I thought anything that can be done a4 can be filofaxed right. The main problem is the hole punching so I got one of these

    be9b1bb7_SingleHolePunch1.jpg

Ive got the credit card inserts already and used those as a template for the holes.
I put a year calendar in the front just because, lol
Because I wanted a go to place for my shopping I hacked a shopping list pad and because I meal plan in advance I can stick the things I need on the list for the right week.
next i used the cc inserts for my coupons
after that is financial sheets to keep track of spending
there is a zip close wallet at the back for any coinage
I have put my loyalty cards at the front and stopped drawing cash but instead I'm transferring my shopping budget to a previously unused debit card (going to set up standing order for this from wages)
its working really well as i slip my receipts in and then I can tally up on to my sheets without having to hunt for them.
I've popped some pink tabs on and need to label them. I want to get a slim pen to put in it and a pretty elastic as i'm using a brown on to keep it closed and its reminded me of why I stopped using it in the first place.
Ive took some pics and will put them up in a bit.

Not sure I actually need a purse now

I used to put these on the front of the fridge (but would forget to take them with me) so started to keep them in my purse but just forget about them there!

I have complete organiser/diary/purse/bag envy! What u have here, is basically what is floating around my bag.

I couldn't get a picture of the one I found in tesco, but I think its almost similar to the organised mum link that someone has posted. If I buy it, I will share some pictures of it :)

They do all sorts of sticker packs....think they're £1 each???? I love them!!!!

I had a hand held labelling machine which broke (kid related I suspect!). Anyway, DH went o Denmark for work (they have set up a new lab up north here and were buying some specialist science-geek kit from this place in Denmark and he texted to say he was bringing me back a pressie.....(I don't usually expect a pressie from Denmark as the duty free is expensive so I wasn't expecting much).....anyway, I commented on FB, will it be diamonds, George Clooney or a labelling machine and my friends couldn't believe how excited I was that it was a labelling machine!!!!!!!!!! In it's own carry case, with a choice or COLOURED labels no less!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG.....yes, it looks like some code breaker from Bletchley Park, but who cares???!!! Love it!!! (and DH for knowing me so well, bless him!!) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just a value one but for the amount I'll use it, it's fab!

Pouches are £1.95 for 25 - which I've been unable to better price wise online so have been back & bought another couple of packs!:o
