  • Ohhhhh no!

I've got 3 sections in my new folder for food:o:

    1) Meal planning - has monthly calender & list of favourite recipes (and which recipe book to find them) in
    2) Recipes to try - main courses
    3) Recipes to try - desserts

BUT I've now tried one of the desserts (it was fab:j) ... so not sure where to put it :rotfl:

Also ... just found another A4 ring binder in the kitchen ... full of recipes I've not tried  Arrrrggghhhhh!

Not sure what to do now!:o (there's too many for them all to go in the new ring binder under the recipes to try section!)

How abt keeping the 'to try' section in your folder, and then add them to the existing ringbinder that's in the kitchen. If they are not successful, u can then just put them in the bin.

I'm just out of tesco's and had a look at their diaries. Seen one that I think is perfect for me. Has a page a person to record everything, height, weight, clothes etc.

. The diary is a week a day, but the left hand page is for mum only, then the right hand page is also a week view, but with 4 or 5 columns, for u to keep track of the others.

It really looked good, but as its nearly minus degrees here, my fingers were frozen and I couldn't get a right good look.
It is currently £13.50, waaay too expensive, so I'll wait till it is reduced.

Oh its called 'the family planner' by mums diary. When I get to a p.c. tomorrow I will update with a link or pic, if I find one.

I've just sorted them out *wipes sweat from brow* - the existing one was a mix of tried & untried :o ... all sorted & several binned as I will never use them!

Donnajt, re improvements, how about a section for 'nice things I have done just for me' or suchlike? All good intentions and no fun...

Test of my new system with a flood of bits of paper after work trrip. Aware of being slightly behind with stuff now. Well quite a bit actually. But my desk is still pretty clear, yay!

Is it just me or does anyone else find that more than one list (eg more than one jobs list, more than one planner) is a recipe for disaster? I check one and think I'm ok...

carolinerunner I love that idea - thank you, hopefully it will make me do something for myself every week, even if its just 30 mins no interruptions bath!

I would stick to the one list/planner - or you are asking for trouble - not sure what list/planner you are using so hard to comment, why do you have more than one?
