If you look at the green banner at the top of the thread, there's a tab that says "thread tools" - if you click on that, it'll give you an option to "subscribe to this thread" HTH eta if you open it from your "subscribed threads" list, it will take you to where you last were.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Hi Everyone
I normally just lurk on this forum but have decided to register as I really love this idea.
Like many others on this thread, I too have a stationery addiction :rotfl:
I started writing up on an A4 project book that I bought that has 5 divided sections......haven't yet decided which each section will be but the first one is detailing cleaning routines for each room. I just need to make sure that I carry out the cleaning routines52 Week Challenge £15/£13780 -

No you're not wrong to get excited, Gill635! I think this is a great thread and I look forward to logging on to see what else has been mentioned.
I have a calendar in the kitchen on which I list things down. I was given a couple of calendars for Christmas but think I may need bigger spaces each day. Its funny how things crop up all on the same day and then I go for some time with nothing extra planned. I have a blackboard and chalk in the toilet with a weekly plan - I see that every day!
I also have a £shop A5 diary which I use for work with hours worked, changes at work and anything I need reminding about like babysitting arrangements. I also transfer those important dates from the calendar - double reminder!
Then...I have shopping lists, things-to-do lists and lots of sticky-it notes
on cupboard doors.
I like the previous posters' ideas of making a file of 'what to do if ...' things in it for family.
Slightly off topic but I read once, and have prepared, a rucksack for hospital which contains emergency things like nightwear, slippers, money (loose change), books, toothpaste and brush, hair brush, tissues etc so that if someone had to get your things quickly from your house they are all ready to pick up.
Sorry for ramblings - more like an essay!

I did this for my father, as he frequently had to go in to hospital at short notice. The 'Grabbit bag' was labelled with his name and address and I learnt to add things for the person who was accompanying him like contact telephone numbers, a notepad and pen, loose change for drinks/ phones, a small pack of biscuits and paracetamol. (I always get a headache in those places!) Sorry to go off thread too:o
Finding lots of good ideas and printables on here, thanks a lot.The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

I think we should feel it is a great thing to aspire to be more organised, not in any way sad or suchlike. I have bottomed the piles of paper here and can honestly say it's made life much easier, partly because it feels nicer and partly because it takes away an excuse to procrastinate, so I don't feel guilty about stuff not getting done. What's sad about that?!
I am also trialling a system in the cheap which will probably graduate to a slightly more costly, and much more beautiful, version once settled. More beautiful= more likely to become permanent. At least I know myself and my foibles!0 -

Mine doesn't work like thatWhen I click from subscribed threads it takes me to the front of the topic and even when I press on "view last read" I still have to click back a few pages to find the last post I read - boo

Thanks for the thought Karen, but I had already taken it back! I had thought about doing that, but was so annoyed at it breaking, I just wanted to complain tbh! I now have a nicer one than I thought I would end up with though, so quite happy!0 -
