What a lovely thread....just my cup of tea. I am a list person, I love my diary and love to be organised. I do want to be more organised this year with things like meal planning and making time to do housework etc.
I will be getting an A5 journal and getting organised.
Looking forward to spending lots of time with you lovely like minded people :T:T0 -
im so very excited.
went to wilkins0ns today and bought a things to do today list book. its a tall book with spiral binding and it was £1.60.
i love it a lot.
love reading about all your lists. what are on your daily lists to do0 -
I also have various notebooks. I like the ones that are the 'Project Books' which have dividers so you have separate sections and my favourite is a Household Journal. I have:
Renewal Dates - inc house and car insurance, TV licence, when MOTs due, Road Tax due.
Finance - a page for each of my bank accounts with details of direct debits (inc. who to and dates they go out), savings accounts and the date any special interest rates finish; I have a page for each credit card with all their details such as when the 0%interest rate ends, and what my limit is.
Menus - I have made a four week dinner plan, a list of meals, accompaniments, sandwich fillings.
Music - A list of all the songs I want to download.
Birthdays - a list of everyone's birthday which I look at at the beginning of every month to get the cards.
I just love stationery and the thrill of writing something on a brand new page!0 -
i just bought a page a day diary from poundland today
And me.....and quite a pretty one too. Have recorded all my spending today & my meter readings (which I then sent to the energy company online) and forwarded it to the 31st January to do it again! Will start to fill in more tomorrow......20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Me too......I love buying notebooks and writing lists....
I forgot that I've also bought all the birthday cards I need for the month and forwarded in my diary when I need to go and stock up on February's:money:
Need to go through all the paperwork for the cars tomorrow - it always takes us by surprise when the tax is due, and DH neglected to do his MOT for 3 weeks because we hadn't double checked the date:o so will WILL be more organised this year:T20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Have soo gotten in to this am organised to the max
unfortunatly my kids cant read so they dont keep to my schedule :rotfl:
Have got a shopping list on the fridge door now so when my hubby does the shopping without me around he will get what we need instead of missing half the stuff - gonna look at getting a wipe clean one to go on the fridge soon.
have made my own pin board but layering a couple of bits of thick cardboard togther covered in old wrapping paper and hole punched it and threaded through a ribon i saved from a new top. :j
already today have done 3/4 of the of the things to be done today and the excitement i get when ticking them off is ever so slightly sad“Can you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can?”

You know ..... I've sort of been doing this for years!
I have folders for Pets, Car, Manuals & Guarantees (receipts stapled to manual!) and a yearly one for bills / important docs!
I haven't ever had the bits with meal planning / cleaning schedules / etc that I've done in my new one tho'!:)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
