Can someone confirm the validity of the suggestion on the last page about taking cash out of the EU? I have $3500 dollars sat here and didn't think I would have trouble taking it with me.0

and just to cover off the US side of things, there is no maximum for what you can take into (or out of) the US, though you need to tell them if its more than $10,000

Morning all,
I've been at work 1 hour and another 12 to go..been awake since about 3am...
The holiday was our best holiday yet
On all flights we got to sit together as people agreed to move etc so we were happy about that.
We went to see Love (used premiuim ticket thing on myvegas), it was easy enough to do and was $130 for two tickets in block 205 i think it was, we also went to see meatloaf and it was the closest and best time i've seen him! We were so close and was really impressive show, hes doing more shows in feb and more again in october, if you remotely like him then its well worth $220 (thats what we paid and got awesome seats)
We also went the GC in the end by helicopter and landed in the canyon with champagne breakfast etc, we paid $760 for the two of us with a limo from paris to LV airport, it was with papillion...Pilot was about my age (26) and was one of the best people i met all holiday!!!!!!!!
We managed to get a look in most of the casinos and just potted around had little plays on some machines etc and a few tables, i had a few big wins but made sure i left with no money hehe, we went to the outlet mall and spent about $250-$300 and for what we spent we got loads of clothes!!
Halloween down fremont was awesome, also managed to find this little bar i wanted to go to called dont tell mama..Its opposite El cortez hotel? The bar was amazing, has a pianist in who plays any song for you and the bar staff sing the songs, amazing amaing time! We made loads of new friends and even have a few on FB now, Jerry was a waiter at a pizzaria below Twin peaks bar, in PH opposite the Harley davidson cafe? Well we drank with him one night and then he said come for food one day, we went and he gave us 50% off food and drinks all night!! Well worth going for pizza there, it was amazing!!
We ended up parting with the bull riders who were there, it was thelast night of the tournament and i ended up chatting to one in the rock bar in PH...He put us on his tab and invited us into the private party they were having lol We spent $20 from 5pm and got back to the room at 4am..we got our money worth out of him, he did just win 100K thou, he was ranked 11th in the world and hes a very very nice guy haha!!
Every one we met seemed to be really nice to us, we went the belligio buffet (my vegas) i just ate fillet steak all the time while there and drank processco haha
We played some roulette after and pinched 2 champagne glasses (shhhhh), made some friends while playing there to!
Overall it was amazing but still didnt do half the things we wanted to do so we are going to go back in the summer, maybe 2014..prob 2015 and go for 10days so we can have a few more lazy days at the pool etc.
I feel i know my way around now a bit better and the Paris hotel was fine for us, got upgraded to fountain view but never tipped her :P
I loved the Mirage and Flamingo, more my idea of vegas i think! the Main party of vegas was full of kids spending daddies money etc and that annoys me lol
I will stick around and try and give advice where possible and will still talk to you guys dont worry
The FXcard was perfect use for food and drinks on tabs etc, worked perfect for us as a couple, the best bar was the mix lounge at the top of mandalay bay, 5pm until 7pm...watch the sun set then watch all the lights come on...Dont tell mama was where we had the most fun i feelHalifax loan - 6800 - 198 DD a month

Thanks Pebbles . It sounds like it has some really good points . Did you get a suite with a balcony?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Can someone please explain the Myvegas on facebook to me.
Ive been trying to play it each day but find I get about 2 to 3 spins then Im out of credit and have to wait. Ive read on here about people just leaving it playing whilst they do other things. How would you get to that stage as I seem to be over and done in about 30 seconds:rotfl:
Ive clicked on a few things on the site but it all looks very confusing. Perhaps I should stay with candy crush!!!!0 -

Theres groups on FB you can join and add people as friends and then play and send them coins etc to build up your coins, you can make a different account if you dont want them on your FB profile.
Just play low spins for a while then log on everyday to increase your maximum bonus and send gifts to people, i just leave it to spin for 200 times and then click the bonus games when they pop up.Halifax loan - 6800 - 198 DD a month

Join this group (hope the link works)
https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/myvegasguides/
Go to the big chip share post and there's lots of links on there to receive chips - if you've never used any of the links before then you'll probably get a good 20-30,000 to start off with.0 -
Thanks for the replies. Ive tried the link but it says 'closed group'. I clicked to join but nothing has happened but will persevere:D0

Here's one for everyone.
Although not till next May my mates keep asking me what happens regarding our luggage for the connecting flight.
LHR - SEA - LAS
All the flights are booked first with delta, internal flights are skywest under a delta flight code. Will we have to pick our luggage up in Seattle or will it be checked though and not seen till vegas?
Im getting a mixed answer off the internet.0
