I will do a trip report of sorts later,

Just wanted to say we did a few new (to us) things this time, one of them being Roos n More which was fun, we met up with Ferf and her hubby while there, it was good to put a face to the name :), and would like to meet another time for a drink and a longer chat

Also hope Pebbles and Tony are having fun

Agree 100% on both counts and hope our trips coincide again so we can do just that as we both really enjoyed meeting you guys and chatting for a bit...also hope that P&T are having a good trip and look forward to meeting up with them at Easter! :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Must be about 3am in Vegas now...well if they put their clocks back last night too. I wonder if 21yrold has woke up with jetlag yet? 3am is usually about when I start to stir on the first morning and can't get back to sleep :rotfl:

Grrrrr 5am and I'm awake lol. We're still in LAX having decided to have a few nights here before we move to LV - flight was really good, glad to have got out before the weather hits. Was still comfy here last night at 8:30 when we got to dollar to get the car. Signed up to express. Out the door and smiling at all those in the queue - it was, as I found out a 90 min wait. I know this as after getting my voucher there were NO full size sedans at all on the lot.

After 30 mins waiting, queued up, manager told me to take a mid SUV instead, wasn't keen on this as we're doing good miles and fuel is not as good - back in again and told to check to see what's in the p section.

Turns out p stands for premium, we've ended up with a Buick enclave or something with more toys than a toys r us.

So we've had a chipotle late last night, lovely :) - today it's arrive up the pacific coast highway... Can't wait :)

I had some questions but I seem to have forgotten them!

A woman in a travel agents yesterday said to me that there are not any chip and pin machines in vegas, how true is this? Are travellers cheques a real option or does nobody bother with them? Wanted to get currency today but everywhere is shut and delivery is not an option which leaves only 1 day for me to get them realistically, next Saturday.

My flight home is 7am on the 16th of November, I will be leaving for the airport at about 4.30am I guess. Will Cosmo charge me a resort fee for this day?

We are having a nice time. Weather is still very warm but is due to drop to low 20's tomorrow. 28 today and we are planning a bit of pool time before meeting Norm and his wife for dinner. It was very busy on the strip yesterday and there are a lot of changes from last trip.

I have my slot tournament registration tomorrow and I'm meeting a MyVegas friend at Harrahs in the afternoon.

Looking forward to seeing ferf and hubby at Easter too.

There are no chip and pin machines (I haven't seen any).

Travellers cheques are an option but not the best, but you have left it to late to get the best option ( a cc or debit card)

No idea about the resort fee. Ask when you check in/out or tell them you don't want to pay the last nights fee (if you wont use anything it covers)
