Chick-fil-a is great in terms of fast food...though some will take issue with the head honcho (and maybe the company's) politics...it blew up really big in the US this summer, if memory serves.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

The pool at Paris is nothing special and not particularly big either.

We got a free upgrade to a Red Room Luxury the first time we stayed there and I certainly wouldn't pay to upgrade as I actually prefer the standard decor. The last few times we have stayed there we've had a P room and like the layout of those.

So I have just booked it.

9th November 2013, seven nights at the Cosmopolitan in a One Bed Studio with Terrace. The whole thing cost me £1,832 so i've told my girlfriend she can eat beans on toast for 3 weeks!

Going via Atlanta, anyone done this route before? Only got a 2 hour layover going out but got a 6 hour delay on the return. What can we do in six hours?

    Flying Delta?

I haven't done the LV leg, but I fly via ATL on Delta 4-5 times per year - its their global hub, plenty of things to do - the hot dog food outlet is pretty tasty - the coca cola outlet has loads of flavours you can't get outside of Atlanta too.
  • Errrr a moon resort?!

Sky’s the limit at Vegas’ future lunar-themed casino :D

Yeah its a mix of Delta and KLM. If i enjoy myself i plan on booking for next year and maybe compromise on hotel for better flights.

These outlets you mention, are they in the airport or nearby?:)

In the airport. I'll be there at the beginning of next month again, like a fourth home from home :)

    http://www.atlanta-airport.com/InternationalTerminal/passenger/concessions.html

Tells you the shops and food outlets in the international terminal.

The Varsity is the name of the hotdog outlet, a restaurant in Atlanta http://thevarsity.com/

You'll fly into the international on the way in and take the train to transfer to the domestic terminal, then do the reverse on the flight home. Its a pretty new terminal, nice and open.
  • Some of the flights I am looking at booking only have a 1h10 min layover at Seattle on the return journey...this may well be too tight. If I was to miss the connecting flight, would they put me on the next flight for free?
