ferf and photome, You're both off soon aren't you? I'm sorry our trips don't match up this time.

Have a lovely time, and don't forget to leave some money in the slots for me.

we fly tomorrow - hooray! Can't wait...all checked in, twilight check-in, Gatwick Hilton tonight.

I am also sorry that our trips only overlap by a very short period this time...but I think in April we'll be seeing you.

Will leave some money in the slots for you - there should be plenty to go around. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

How lovely. We arrive next Thursday afternoon, just before you fly back, I think.

Some of the flights I am looking at booking only have a 1h10 min layover at Seattle on the return journey...this may well be too tight. If I was to miss the connecting flight, would they put me on the next flight for free?

    Yes they would.

Leaving the US the tight connection is fine, going to the US with a tight connection when you have to clear immigration is not a good idea (nor good for your blood pressure).

Thanks. So maybe 1h10 would be enough to get through Seattle then. As it would just be a case of going to the gate of the connecting flight, no baggage to be collected or customs/immigration to clear?

Yep should be doable, if you're running late let the first flight crew know you're connecting, depending on how many are connecting on the same flight as you it's not unusual for the long flight to wait for you if the delay is minor...

Hi I know that some of you have used Myvegas and Total Rewards to get some offers i was wondering if you could explain to me how it works in the redeeming process.

Such as i have converted 1000 social reward points to Total Reward points - so do they come to me on a card in the post or do i have to go somewhere in vegas to pick them up as i read somewhere you must go to a kiosk in Vegas

    sorry for seeming so dumb
hope someone will be kind and explain how each one works - thanks
