Economy into JFK = 2 hours.
Business Class transiting through JFK = 15 minutes.

    Go figure...

The amount of people being wheeled to the front of the queue at immigration only to hop off, pick up their case and roll it out themselves was just ridiculous

Well we have 3 hours to spare in Philly, so not going to be doing much else so would prefer to get it out the way. Then we can try a philly sandwich which people talk about so much!! Any suggestions on the best food place for my gf's first real bite of america(with the airport of course lol)?!!

Has anyone stayed at 'Paris' and done the best rate guarantee ?
Its showing for 3 nights at £119 (May 19th) on quickrooms.com
that's a very very good rate!!!! am wondering if to book with them
or book direct with paris and go for the best rate deal ?

worries are: Paris say No, which will do my head in, but as long as I get my money back, no harm done!
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, anyone stayed there anyway ?
Pool looks nice and big which is my main thing anyway!

we like Paris...upgraded to a P room last time and it was lovely (was a relatively newly renovated red room as well)...never used the best rate guarantee, always assume when different currencies are involved it will just get knocked back...never used the pool but I always thought it was relatively small..it certainly didn't look particularly big.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I just booked, 3 nights in Paris :)
    actual rate: $661
3rd party rate: $191 (it shows the rate in dollars with UK conversion)
Best rate if I get it: $171 :D:D:D:D:D
Shame the resort fee is not Optional :(:(

and yeah, let me know about the pool, that's the 1 thing we like, is the pools!!!!! I booked us a standard luxary room, so maybe, just maybe a $20 trick may get us bumped up! :D

and the food court in Philly, problem u have with that place is, too many nice food places!!! :D on our way back in June, I had to do chick-a-fila and a slice of sbarro pizza! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!

The resort fee was optional with lowcostusa and we have a luxary room to, was hoping of the upgrade to red room etc but now the same dates for our trip 26th until the 1st are about £250 more than we paid LOL Also arriving on a saturday we kinda understand we will struggle, will be happy anyway with what we have!

I will just stick to this chick-a-fila place and blame you if its pants :P

haha!! can honestly say the food courts at philly airport ain't pants, a lot better than we get here!!

As to the resort fee, that does confuse me, as lowcostusa state its optional, but Caesars properties state the resort fee is now mandatory....... very interesting to know what happens when u get there.... ($20 a day for wifi is a bit extreme!)

I've just printed my "prepaid accommodation voucher" to put in my folder for travel docs etc and it states :

(no Mandatory resort fee, chargers for facilites only)

As far as i'm concerned if i dont use the wifi/free things included in resort fee then i wont be paying it lol
