Tbh I cant be bothered with that, I think we will use them for buffets, we have all our show tickets - so its probably best on food/drink/buffets I guess, but are we limited to three from each of our 100k?

on most, yes...as I understand it (not sure about rooms as we have never looked into that side of things)...Wolfgang Puck, LV Monorail, House of Blues and Sugar Factory do not count toward the 3 as far as I understand.

Have you looked at going via Amsterdam?

In order to find that would i have to book Manc/Liverpool to Amsterdam and then Amsterdam to Vegas? I've checked every flight website i can think of and none of them have given me the option yet so guessing i will need to price it manually.

most websites will allow you to do a multi-city search which can be useful when trying to force a routing...but sometimes if none of the airlines fly all routes and do not partner with airlines who fly the other legs the price can be quite high so it may make sense to price both ways...as a multi-city journey...and also return to Amsterdam and return to Vegas...if you do the latter the risk will be that if you buy the components separately and not on one ticket and you miss your connection, neither airline will be obligated to sort it out for you.

I had a very very quick look at Manchester->Amsterdam->Vegas->Manchester and it doesn't look like there are direct flights Amsterdam->Vegas so you would be making 2 stops on the way out...so not sure that in this case it would be workable but it's worth checking.

you can input Manchester as your starting airport and Vegas as destination in to any website such as skyscanner.

As ferf says there are no direct flights from Amsterdam, I know as I have done that route a few times (from Norwich) and will be doing it again on thursday.

So via Amsterdam would indeed be 3 flights, which can be a bit of a pain depending on connection times.

I live 2 miles from Norwich airport and 160 from the London airports so the first leg to Amsterdam is better and quicker both ways than the drive to and from London, which in effect makes it the same as an indirect flight from London.

When I land at Norwich on return I am usually indoors within 30 minutes of touching down. Landing In London it takes about an hour or so just to get to the car and then 3 to 4 hours drive home feeling like ****

Another advantage is you clear customs on your first point of entry which makes the it much quicker getting out of Vegas airport

thinking about it you could also use some for the few attractions they have listed - like Shark Reef, The Secret Garden, etc...but it's really just personal preference what each person wants to do with their points...I'm probably going to use some for a 7-day BOGOF monorail voucher which I know many would think was a poor use of the points (since we'll have to buy one ticket at $56) but we like the monorail sometimes but the prices are silly...and I think if we had a pass for a week we would use it enough to be worth $4/day each...

Maybe you'll be able to answer a question that I've been stuck on for a while!

We're going via Amsterdam (and Minneapolis) at the end of the month. Was wondering about immigration, so that's good to hear that we won't be going through it in Vegas, was pretty painful last time round! On the way home, what customs rule apply, is it where we originally came from ie USA, or where the flight into the UK originated from, ie Netherlands? Never seen any customs at our small local airport but we don't want to get caught out!

Used MyVegas for three nights in Aria last month. They did count towards the 3 (as did the show tickets and buffet passes) we were each allowed.

Looking at room availability, I assume its first week of Nov you are heading out? Surprised to see a cheaper bonus room available on the Thursday, when the full price room was blacked out. (only looked at Aria)

AFAIK the limits will apply from the USA, but don't quote me as I never worry about limits, I don't bring anything back to worry about

The limits from USA will apply at customs.

Surely not. Its the limits that apply in the country that you are entering.
