agree, though I haven't stayed at Palazzo/Venetian before...but the balcony looking out over Bellagio fountains was really special.

Maybe Venetian first, then move to Cosmo, perhaps...I haven't checked prices...but I know lowcostusa seems to have quite good rates for Cosmo.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I think thats a good plan.

I know you and others love the Cosmo room :) but I think I prefer the Venetian/pallazzo rooms although I do agree the balcony is great even though we didnt use ours much in August as it was a little bit warm

But Ady87 couldnt go wrong choosing those 2 hotels for a split first visit

agree that in the heat of the summer the balcony wouldn't get that much use...but we did love it...for me, being able to pop out for a cigarette was an extra bonus...we never get a smoking room so normally I have to go down to the casino...and then there was the washer/dryer...and the fridge/freezer and the microwave which we made use of for these

because we had to keep up the appearances that we were in a posh hotel, you know.

Where did you get those Ferf? We could use those when we are at Tuscany.

My budget for 2 flights and a hotel for 1 week including resort fees is £2,000.

I can go for a week commencing the 9th November or the 23rd November.

I wouldn't mind doing the majority of the stay at one hotel and then a night or two somewhere else. A suite if the budget allows.

If someone can help me on this i will be eternally grateful. I didn't take the flights at £515 as i couldn't book at the time. They are £530 now.

you can keep an eye on flight prices for different days in November at skyscanner:

depending on how you book, remember the likes of quidco - currently 6% cashback for ebookers (so about £100 back on a £1700 booking)

someone I work with got back from a trip to the US last week...they did several things and ended in Vegas...which they hated....to the extent they looked into bring their flights home forward... :( I was so sad but when I asked it was down to (I think) spending a lot of time in the clubs and feeling it was completely meat-markety...having never spent a second in a Vegas club and only a very limited amount of time in clubs elsewhere, I suppose that I could understand if you weren't into that sort of scene why you would not like it (I wouldn't)...but it's a shame to have the whole of Vegas spoiled for them...I have tried to explain that there is a lot more to Vegas than that side of things...but I don't think they are likely to ever go back given just how much the disliked it.

My hubby and I also think it's a bit hilarious if our colleagues think that's what Vegas is all about given how often we go...anyone who knows us must surely SURELY know that's not our thing...but maybe they all think we have this secret life we lead on holiday. :)

frozen section of WalMart...there are a variety of options including sausage/egg/cheese but we found these suited us just fine. as they are heated in a microwave they aren't quite up to the standard (?) of breakfast biscuits you might get elsewhere but we thought they were quite tasty...but we do like our American junk food so we cannot always be trusted. :)

Had not used ebookers before but it looks cheaper than anything else i have seen yet...is it reliable? Looks legit.

Some great package prices and it allows me to book flights and a 5 day hotel stay which gives me the freedom to book my own hotel for the last 2 nights.

Would it be a package (giving you package holiday cover) if you only booked 5 nights accommodation.

I don't know to much about packages though as its a long time since I booked one

ebookers have been around long enough to be considered legit.

have you looked at lowcostusa for hotel prices
