Just looking now.
A standard Venetian Luxury King is coming in at £380 excluding resort for 5 nights. So about £450 all in? Add flights at £1,060 thats £1,510 allowing me a potential £490 for the last 2 nights stay. Or an opportunity to save some money.
So manu varied reviews on these hotels i just can't decide where to stay.0 -
I wouldn't put too much stock in reviews...read them, sure...and if somewhere gets consistently poor reviews perhaps move on...but people are more likely to complain when something goes wrong, I think...and people sometimes have unrealistic expectations...with the higher end hotels which seem to be your focus, you'll be unlikely to have a terrible experience.
I think everyone here who has stayed at the hotels you have mentioned will recommed them, for what that's worth...which would be best for you depends on what you want and personal preferences that will vary person to person.
One of the benefits of booking hotels direct is it gives you some flexibility to change your mind.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Had not used ebookers before but it looks cheaper than anything else i have seen yet...is it reliable? Looks legit.
Some great package prices and it allows me to book flights and a 5 day hotel stay which gives me the freedom to book my own hotel for the last 2 nights.
ebookers are certainly legithave booked our last couple of Vegas trips through them, and Quidco cashback gets paid without any problems (once the trip is completed).
websites like ebookers, expedia, etc. are always a good starting point to price up flights+hotel. then take that price and look up booking flights and hotel separately.
one benefit to booking the hotel directly, is that you can usually cancel the booking if another better deal comes up - just make sure you read the Ts&Cs when booking, to check you can do this.0 -
Thanks a lot for the help again.
Is there a notable difference in the quality of flights between Delta/Air France and BA/American Airlines? Ive found good package deals but poor flights where i lose 2 days practically and for the extra money would get much more time over there if i flew with BA.0 -

What are these varied reviews and which hotels (I never look at reviews for Vegas hotels).
If you are talking about the Venetian. My advice would be to ignore them0 -

personally i prefer to travel direct, so you don't lose any time, there's less hassle. i'd rather save a little on hotels and put that towards the difference in direct/indirect flights.0 -

I cant seem to find direct flights for the 2 potential weeks i want to go. (Commencing the 9th and 23rd Nov)What are these varied reviews and which hotels (I never look at reviews for Vegas hotels).

The Venetian and The Bellagio seem to only get marked down for having dated room. Whereas as the newer hotels seem to have better rooms but other faults. (Service etc)
Some people find problems with everything though and i am not one of those people.0 -
Direct Flights are coming in £680-£720

Click that, shows you the flight durations clearly - you can also filter direct or stops on the left hand side...0 -
Yes, for quidco purposes a package is a flight plus hotel. It doesn't have to be a hotel for the full duration, even just one night counts.
We do this fairly regularly. This year we stayed at the Orleans for one night for this reason. We arrived at Orleans on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend, so we weren't going to get a good rate anywhere. We ended up paying less than we would have for a flight only less quidco, so we got the room for free basically and made an additional saving.
Particularly for people who like to stay at 2 places, it can work quite well. I like to do flight plus hotel then I can mess about looking for deals for the other dates.0
