Got this from a website - sounds like fast waitress service haha!
As for the strip - I think Tropicana is best for this. The service was relentless.
This might just be Vegas’s best-kept secret for drinkers. I’m hesitant to share it, but here goes. There is a very small casino on Fremont Street called called La Bayou. It’s nothing more than slot machines with a frozen drinks bar in the back. The bathroom stinks, but the people that work there are awesome. The patron-to-waitress ratio is unmatched. Find a comfortable stool and pump some nickels into a slot machine. In no time, someone will ask you if you want a drink. The drinks will keep coming faster than you can drink them. This is not an exaggeration. I have tested it on many occasions, and I stumble out of that place every time.0 -
at all!!
Dinner buffet at Silverton $15 for both of us with LVA coupon. They do a drinks bump for $5 which is great value but we didn't do it. Buffet is quite small but quality is reasonable. I had a plate of salad which was nice and fresh then some mac cheese, pizza and mash. And a bit of brownie and some sponge cake with strawberry sauce poured over. Service attentive and friendly.
!!
Silverton is one of my fav buffets, I especially like the fresh cook to order pasta station where they hav all different fillings, different sauces and different pasta, always head straight there
What did you think to Terry fator we thought he was very funny0 -

I cant place La Bayou but that could just as easily apply to Mermaids on Fremont with the advantage of having deep fried Oreos and twinkies at the back0 -
Hi All
I'm back in Vegas in a few weeks, hoping to stay at Silver Seven's, formerly known as Terrible's.
I've stayed there in a refurbished Premium Room before overlooking the car park but a few internet reviews say the Tower Rooms facing the pool are better, even though they haven't been refurbished.
Has anyone recently stayed in both type of room and could you recommend the best?
Thanks
The pool view rooms are quieter than the outside facing ones.0 -

I did ask Teller after the show when I met him. Alas, he didn't say much.
I love their show. Great guys0 -

I think too many people neglect Fremont. It's a fantastic place. I love the grunginess of it.
First time I went in 2006 (I was 22) we stayed in a hotel on Fremont (walking away from the Fremont experience) and it was like something out of the Bronx. Really really shifty! Got offered a knife for 5c - the crack heads were out in force...
Since then I stayed at stratosphere, tropicana, palazzo and next one is Monte Carlo.
But I ALWAYS have a big night on Fremont every time now.0 -
This might seem like a really stupid question, so apologies!
To get to the Top of the World restaurant, do you first have to pay to get into the tower? If so, I'll get some tickets off Travelzoo where they are a third off the price.
Even though we've stayed there twice before, we never actually went up the tower.0 -
I've never seen any mention of Terrible's on here, so I'm not sure if anyone will know. Are you getting it really cheaply? It's just that Vegas has so many cheap room deals I'm not sure it's worth staying over there. Obviously you will know where it is if you have stayed before, but I think it would be worth checking for deals elsewhere. Orleans (also of strip but much bigger and with a shuttle) has rooms for $35 including $10 food credit. They have a 9.99 resort fee now though.
We stayed in the Key Largo opposite Terrible's years ago, and I didn't like it at all. If you provide your dates someone will have a browse for you and advise on good rates elsewhere. The Quad might even be cheaper.
Hi there, yes I stayed there in March and want to stay there again as it's 5 mins walk from Hard Rock Hotel where I'm attending a number of events. It's £195 for 7 seven nights through Expedia, with 10% Topcashback and 2 free breakfasts. Resort fee is $3 per day and it includes strip and airport shuttle.
I've read some bad reviews about The Quad and I know there's now a $10 Resort fee in place so I wouldn't be too keen on staying there.
I used to stay at Bally's until they started charging resort fee.
Thanks- I'll let you know how I get on whichever room I choose0
