not much of a saving $12 for $20 coupon but if you fancy one of (anyone who has tried one surely cant eat a whole one) the apple and cinnamon pancakes it might be worth it, they are awesome

Has anyone ever had the Power Pass or have any opinions on it?

I think it depends what you want to do and how much you are willing to cram into X number of day...many of the things on there you can find discounts for so would be worth totting up the cost of the pass vs the cost of what you could do the things you actually want to do with any discounts available online, etc. The value of thing things you wouldn't be interested in obviously dilutes the overall value and so on.

but looking at it - I don't think I realised that the guy who looks after the lions that used to be at MGM has opened his ranch to the public...I knew it was something that was planned but I don't recall seeing that it had happened...unless I'm going crazy.

I wasn't sure what I thought about it based on the few photos on the website but seeing that a friend has reviewed it on yelp and gave it an excellent review it's more interesting to me as I would trust his opinion on something like this as much as anyone I know.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I didn't realise the lions had gone from MGM, we were wandering round looking for them this visit!! Wish I had known about the ranch would have liked to have gone.

    51 days for me!

Got hotels in LA and LV booked, but need to find LA/San Diego hotels for the last 6 days of our trip yet.

Need to be careful where I book, I don't want to end up shot lol

    Avoid Hollywood then!

Santa Monica was my favourite part of LA but I think the hotels might be pricey! Or you could look for something in Calabasas which is where the Kardashians live :p

I've been checking daily for Club World availability for our British Airways return flight from Vegas to Heathrow at the start of October and it showed up on Saturday!

Thanks to tips on MSE and FlyerTalk forums I've been collecting Tesco Club Card points like crazy. Got all these converted to Avios and got 2 upgrades from World Traveller Plus to Club World for 25,000 Avios and £7.20 extra taxes. So I'm now (almost) looking forward to the flight home! - First time ever in Business Class for us.

The flights were bought in the sale in January through a travel agent and they were still valid for upgrade. So I'm really pleased.
I've also still got enough Avios left to upgrade our outbound flights to SFO if availability appears - so still checking every day.

Only 6 more work-days to go!
