Is it any good? I'm a shake shack fan but there aren't any in lv, so then we had the back up of in n out burger (never had before) but is strip burger really worth the cost? Doesnt seem overly cheap?

I read on Vegaschatter that there will be a Shake Shack at NY NY when they've finished the remodelling there.

In n Out burger is really great fast food, had it in LA. Good if you want a cheap meal that isn't McDs. I quite liked Wendys too and there's one in one of the malls in LV

There's one in Covent Garden in London, just not made it yet, then again I don't want to be disappointed, given I was sat in Central Park the last time I ate one lol
  • Keep on finding more and more places that we fancy eating at! The latest one is Seredipity 3, really fancy trying their frozen hot chocolate, anyone tried it? Is it as yummy as it looks?

Also I love the 100x100 picture...especially the aftermath where it appears that the tomatoes may have been rejected. :)

    OK - ew!

21yrold - as Froggit says...but remember that you can only use one voucher per restaurant per month...and most have minimum spends so make sure you know what the terms are and that they suit you (no point in buying a $75 voucher off $150 if you won't spend but $100)...you can't buy 4x$25 vouchers and get $100 off one meal, for example...some include alcohol in minimum spend, others don't. And some have a mandatory gratuity added to the full price (you should tip on the full price anyway but some people object to it being added to the bill at a set % as stated on the voucher).
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • Jet lag time. Went to bed shortly after 10pm last night. Woke at 130, then dosed till 330am....I've also now discovered that Orleans has free wifi in the rooms.

I'm going to be tired later. Going to see Legends at 930 tonight...will I manage to stay awake? We also move to Palazzo, I'm wondering if I'll need a snooze before dinner. Thinking of going to Maggiano's and using the $30 off 75 spend. I think we'll manage to get up to 75 if we have starter, pasta, wine, cocktail each. Would be a good deal if we do!!

We had a stressful start yesterday, we were delayed almost 2 hours out of Glasgow yesterday - although they manage to make some time up we ended up with only an hour or so to make our connection, and it was quite tight at philly. I think some of the luggage belts were broken, some of the flights just had piles of cases dumped. Took a while to get ours, and immigration wasn't the fastest either. More questions than usual too - you been here before (yes, lots of stamps on passport), any relatives in the US, what do you work as, how much cash are you carrying, do you have credit cards. It was like that Australian customs programme on TV. Anyway, had to do a bit of a dash to get over to the gate, we were a bit delayed which gave us time to grab a slice of pizza from the place next to the gate. I was starving as I managed to be given a gluten free meal instead of a veggie meal. It happened to also be veggie but it was awful. Thankfully I've got got a gluten intolerance...feel quite sorry for coelics having to eat that.

We are only at the Orleans one night, but the room smells like it has been smoked in then masked with air freshener and there are dark stains all over the carpet. Bit of a state unfortunately, but the bed and a bathroom are clean.

Well it's nearly 7am now, will be a respectable time to wake Kevin haha. He appears to still be snoozing despite my tapping away on the keyboard.

Ok well i notcie the strat one is on there, we dont like to plan food etc around what we do on holidays but we want to do the rides at strat so think we could justify that one :)

I will sign up then and check it out in more detail, i did think it would be fairly simple but thought i would ask just to double check!

I have to remember to fill out my passport numbers, the website i got them off said i need to add it to my booking b4 we fly? Also sign up to this visa aswell? Thats all fairly standard is it not? I went to NY and filled it out ont he plane i think!
