We visited In and Out Burger for the first time this trip - thought it was excellent for what it was (ie fast food with no pretence at being anything more).

The big thing I think is that all the ingredients are fresh...they are excellent fast food burgers though it's worth being familar with the 'secret menu' as otherwise it looks like they don't have a lot of options.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Oh yes, we ordered off the secret menu! We fed four of us really well for $20 which seemed a great deal compared with what that bought in the Strip Starbucks

  • evening all! has anyone been to Vegas in later April? some ok-looking prices for the Easter break, so thinking of giving it a go, if it's going to be pool weather :)

we're going over Easter next year...averages temps are high 70s to low 80s depending on specific dates.

Also I love the 100x100 picture...especially the aftermath where it appears that the tomatoes may have been rejected. :)

We really like Stripburger but they are more expensive than fast food burgers...In-and-Out is another favourite (double-double animal style mmmmm) if we're in the fast food burger mood...and we also really like Steak 'n Shake which is also less expensive...we wouldn't say no to any of them really. :)

The voucher cost $10 - minimum spend is $35...so on the day we'll spend $10 for 2 nice (to us) burgers, fries and onion strings and 2 shakes...yes total cost was $20 once you factor in the $10 paid for the voucher when we bought it...but feels like $10 since that's what we pay on the day...and even $10 each for what we think is a good burger lunch/dinner including a great shake is worth it to us.

Oh and the fried pickles...I love them...hubby won't even try them. :)

I think our first time was with a voucher you gave me back when they had expiry dates on them. That first time was really good, and we tried it again twice, but that first time was the best. Thanks very much for the voucher.
