Well, this time tomorrow we'll be on the plane. We have done our online check in with US Airways, I was hoping that the pair of seats might be available for a fee but they weren't. Proper upgrade to Envoy was $605 or something like that...and that was only for the one segment. So we have stuck with our original seats!!
I just need to pack and organise my coupons, and also tell the c/card company I'll be travelling.0 -

Just a heads up it is better to tell the C/C a bit sooner than the day before as it can take a few days to be on the system properly, at least that's what either Halifax or the PO told me last time.
You can let them know (I think) up to a year in advance.
Having said all that it didn't stop the PO putting a stop on my card last time even though I had told them.0 -
I expect my card to be blocked at some point in Vegas so have the number with me to get it instantly unblocked . Has happened almost every trip ...of course when the card was copied and later used in Vegas the bank forgot to block it when I rang to report a transaction that wasn't mine ...but that's a different matter !I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

have a great trip, Lesley!
As for notifying card issuers we'll be away...we have never done it and have never had a card block...now that I have said this every card will be blocked in October.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I just did it online, and it comes up on the screen so it's definitely registered on my account. I know, I really could have had that organised though earlier. I'm just looking for more coupons now then I'll batch them into little folders ready to go :j0 -
Maybe add them to the coupons and vouchers section on page 1?illegitimi non carborundum0
