I filtered to north strip, so TI and mirage were only options. But I'd encourage anyone to do their own research before doing the same, things change! Paid $90 a night and got TI, down from $160 for 2 of the weekend nights. Others have had winning bids for weeknights for $50.

Well apparently someone out there hates me ;)

Heads up that a company called "Clever-Hotels.com" have gone bust - I pretty much received the email at the exact same time I was checking in the Chicago hotel I prepaid for thru them ;)

They usually showed up on Trivago etc as one of the cheapest for quite a few places we've looked at in the past (but not sure if they would've been for Vegas or not as we don't use Trivago for there)

....we've not been rumbled (yet) :D

I was about to post the same and I have used them for the GN earlier this year.

It does seem that some hotels have been paid if the booking was prepaid for so I am sure you are OK, if the hotel hadnt been paidI dont think they would have checked you in

whats the deal with parking in the hotels on the strip? Most of them offer free parking, but can you park in them if you're staying away from the strip? Just trying to figure out what we're going to do for the Friday and Saturday night, as its proving to be an expensive extension if we stay on the strip, but not so bad away from it...

Parking is free everywhere in Vegas with a few exceptions

    so the answer is yes

    aha cool, thanks :)
  • Has anyone seen the show 'the Rat Pack is Back'??
My boyfriend loves all that swing, rat pack type music and is desperate to see something that has it but I've never heard this show mentioned on here. It has mixed reviews on Trip Advisor - don't they all!!!

Depends on where you stay whether you will need to park or not. Have you considered a hotel that has a shuttle - Orleans, Gold Coast, Rio etc.
