Are priceline rates inc or exc resort? Just before I start looking...
Also we're booked in for Veronic, we're currently getting tickets for Terry Fator and Beatles Love as people have said they are good, but first time Cirque show watchers here, so which one do we look to go to?
We're sat here discussing the nights and realizing very quickly there are more shows than we have nights lol0 -
excluding resort fee
I'm a huge PL fan for everywhere except LAS however the one time I did use them for LV I messed up and accidently ticked North as well as South Strip and got the Riviera. I was less than thrilled but it was just one night so was cheap ...and then got cheaper still as I invoked their price guarantee as it was cheaper on another site ........and when I got there I was upgraded to a one bedroom balcony suite without asking ......so it worked out pretty well.
Try watching some of the Cirque clips on Youtube and see if that helps you decide....I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Using Priceline, if you stick to 4/5 star hotels in North Strip area then you have only TI (which I'd booked already for these nights, and since cancelled)/Mirage (where we are staying the previous 2 nights thanks to myvegas)/Venetian/Palazzo/Wynn to choose from - no bad option there, IMO!
Got to say I'm super impressed with the deals I've managed to find so far. Flights only £560 (from north of Scotland), and 12 nights in hotels only coming in at £535, although will have resort fees to pay for 5 of those nights.0 -

be careful with Priceline as using the name your price option you will not know which hotel for certain until it is booked. you can narrow the options considerably but need to do some research and be happy to commit before having confirmation of the hotel.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I used them and Hotwire on previous NYC trips, just never had to account for the resort fees before...
Besides, I have lots of trips and shows booked, just got the hotels left to book otherwise in the car it is0 -
Whos derek? Given I now need those extra two nights I now need to greatly reconsider options - if we go to the MGM we will deffo need 1st/2nd Nov somewhere else as the MGM for those two nights is more than the 4 we are already staying if we book.
I've sent you a pm with Derek's email.0 -
We did well with Priceline this year, got Palazzo for 4 nights, Venetian for 2 nights at a great price. We will have to pay the resort fee.
We have previously used it to (deliberately) book Trump, although this is one to watch out for if you DON'T want Trump. It now sits in a separate area on Priceline but it did used to sit in the North Strip category but was really just blocking people from getting Venetian at the time. We used either Priceline or Hotwire also to (again deliberately) get Westin. We liked the Westin back then, stayed a couple of times before we discovered Platinum.0 -

To be honest, with Trump out going to a different area leaves 5 star in the Las Vegas Strip North Category to only a handful.
Venetian, Palazzo, Aria, Wynn, Bellagio, Cosmo or VDara - I guess it all depends how cheeky they will go - ages ago the NYC offers I got were insane.0 -

I reckon I was one bid away from getting the Venetian for the same price as I had previously paid for TI for the same period, going by the express deal price for what had to be the Venetian. Odd as it may sound, I decided not to pursue it as the bf really wanted to stay in a themed hotel, so couldnt risk getting the Wynn! On top of that, for us its worth saving money on hotel room we were already happy with and spending the difference elsewhere rather than get nicer room for same amount.
Changed to 4 star option, dropped bid and got a super price. Not for everyone, however id done a lot of research and had hotels for other 9 nights named and booked. Doesn't stop the panic as it searches and the fear that somehow something that you don't expect will pop up as your accepted offer!0
