We usually dine at at least one really nice restaurant each visit.
Gordon Ramsay Steak is really good if you like steaks. Our bill was around $200 with one drink each.
IMO Alize is more high end and really posh with service to match as it is not as busy as GRS depending which night you go.
Another vote for Alize, been there twice and can't fault the food or the service.0 -
I haven't but if you like all the rat pack/swing type music why not go and see Matt Goss at the Gossy Room in Caesars. I've seen him 3 times there, brilliant show. He used to be in Bros incase you didn't know!!!!
I've mentioned Matt Goss (yes, old enough to remember Bros!), he's not keen unfortunately but I've a girly trip organised for next May and I think we're gonna go see Matt then0 -

If you like steak then I would say Gordan Ramseys new restaurant at the Paris. We went there for our anniversary meal last week. I can say it was the nicest steak we have ever had. Its not cheap though, husband had a starter then we both had a main and then 2 bottles of wine, think bill came to $ 287!! Definitely worth it though. We booked before we went probably a month before.
Also ate at Mon Ami Gabi, a table on the patio, which is a great setting for views of the fountains. Think we waited about an hour and 15 for a table on the patio, this was a Monday night.
On previous trips we have eaten at Alize at the palms for anniversary meals and that's been lovely to.
There is an Abercrombie in the forum shops, its near the cheesecake factory, got quite a few bits in there and also spent loads at the outlet malls. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. Not if you eat around 5-6 pm. What we do on each visit is do a recci of the place to see what time the sun goes over the Bellagio, and we book for then. You do not want to be sitting on the patio when the sun is up in the summer.
Thanks, good advice! We'd usually have something to eat round about that time, so that would work out well.0 -

The front page doesn't really have restaurant suggestions.
I would like to go to the wicked spoon looks amazing, is it something you have to book? My brother went on honeymoon back in June and stayed at the cosmopolitan.
We are in a vegas from 18th -23rd September.
We go on the 25th!
I don't think you have to book for the Wicked Spoon?0 -

My boyfriend loves all that swing, rat pack type music and is desperate to see something that has it but I've never heard this show mentioned on here. It has mixed reviews on Trip Advisor - don't they all!!!0 -
Re Gordon Ramsay's. A friend of ours who visits Vegas regularly just sits at the bar if he can't get a reservation for th time he wants. An option for some of you who want to go, but can't get a restaurant reservation.0

Hi,
I was wondering if you fine people could help us? We fly to Las Vegas on Weds 4th Sept (yey us!). We already have our first night booked at the Gold Coast. We have stayed there a few times before and it is more than what we need for our first night to just crash out. We then have a road trip planned and are spending 3 nights in Vegas on our return from Sun 22nd Sept to Weds 25th. We are struggling with finding a decent rate on a hotel for these 3 nights....
We have been looking at the higher end hotels (Pallazo, Cosmo, Bellagio, Aria, Vdara etc) but can't find anything really for less than £175 a night. I have looked at all the pages listed on the first page of this thread....with no success...
Reading the thread it seems many of you get much better rates than this at these hotels...?
Any help or ideas really appreciated.
Thank you.0 -
