I went to the Tourny kings show in Excal (thanks to myVegas!) back in May, was an awesome fun night! lots of shouting, etc... Its a good fun show, got a chicken and some tato's, and unlimited pepsi
Defo a good fun night, banging on the tables and stamping your feet!0 -
Thanks Stuie
Sounds really good! That's another show to add to the list then!
So far we're going to see Rock of Ages, Meatloaf Rocktellz and Cocktails and Penn & Teller.0 -
Ha there's no doubt I will be back - this is my 5th time - its my favourite place on the planet (well tied with Ibrox, anyway!)
I am more of a collector than a player as well, I just collect the daily spin and the hotels, sometimes twice on the weekends - I only tend to play when its double XP.
I am glad I gave it a go (December, I started) as according to our Mirage bookings the value of the 4 nights in the suite is approx $1200 which we would never have spent on a hotel to be honest. The rest of the family started playing too late and have had to make do with booking through lowcostusa. I still don't know whether to let them up to the suite....... I may charge an entrance fee ha ha :rotfl:0 -

I'd never really give it much thought before now, but I was on trip advisor or some Vegas site (can't remember which), and saw it advertised, so I clicked on it and thought that it looked like a fun night out? Or is it more aimed at kids?
Its fun as Stuie says. is it aimed at kids? probably.
You do get your food in a basket with no cutlery so you have to eat with hands as befitting the era.
I don't think I would pay full price for it , but we did enjoy it when we went about 12 years ago, I guess it hasn't changed though0 -

If you can get hold of the book of discounts that venetian guests get (and probably palazzo too), there is a voucher to upgrade your seats from rear stalls to front. Not sure if you could use them alongside any other deal you managed to get, but maybe worth a try.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Can anyone advise the process to redeem the voucher for the monorail. I realise it is buy one get one free but wher do you go to make the purchase.
Thanks for any help you can give0 -
well now you can try two hotels.
I do agree that there are other options for not a lot more money and depending on what you want the choice is nearly wide open...you can get a lot for your money in Vegas. GVR seems really nice - we have only been to the casino/restaurants but it looks really lovely though is quite far removed from the Strip, which for some might be a nice thing, others would prefer to be closer to heart of things for a short trip. One day I would like to try GVR - even if I have never, ever, ever done anything but lose in their casino - we still stop by almost every trip.
We stayed there last year for 2 nights. Really liked it. Rooms are nice. Pool is lovely and relaxed. You get a glass of wine with the buffet. Buffet is also really cheap, but good. You really need a car to stay there. It suited us because we were going to do a fair bit of shopping in Henderson as well. I really like the shopping down there. The District is also nice for a wander in the evening. We found a bar on a side street at the District and stopped there for a drink or two on both nights. Reasonable and friendly. Was maybe called Al's Garage.0 -
i'm not playing myvegas myself, so don't know if this teaching sucking eggs!

Managed to snag the 2-Night Mirage Tower Suite reward back in January for our wee trip in October (Its getting soooo close now
)
I thought rewards had to be redeemed within 90 days of getting them. Have I misunderstood that?
How long before a trip should you start trying to cash in LPs for rewards?0
