I'm getting to the point where I need to start booking otherwise my OCD is going to take over....
I'm getting a rate of $500 for a 5 night stay at the Ti in a strip view room including resort fee.
For me this seems super cheap considering, but then I read TA and the reviews aren't that great for the Ti - anyone got any thoughts on it here? Always a bit skeptical of TA reviews (although that doesn't stop me reading them lol)
Cant remember when you are going but I was emailed a $129 a night rate for many nights or $109 in Nov and Dec at the Wynn this morning.
There is an invite a friend link on it, which I think are usually about $20 a night more.
I can send it to you (or anyone else) if its any good0 -
I got the Wynn offer too - it says from $109 on the title of the email but when I open it it says from $129.
I'd like to stay there for my 40th birthday next year....so hopefully there will be some deals. Don't want to be 40, but a holiday at the Wynn will make me feel better :rotfl:0 -

then if you read further it says $20 off during November and December meaning it is $109 for most sun thru thur in those 2 months0 -

That would be great, could you PM me the details so I can take a look?
Would be worth it if the price is right0 -
I thought the reviews on TA were actually pretty good for TI last time I looked...compared to the reviews for a lot of others, at least...and yeah, TA has to be taken with a grain of salt but good for an overview.
Many of us are a little OCD here...if you think it's a good deal then book it and keep looking...provided you book direct with the hotel you an always keep looking around and cancel and rebook later...it's what a lot of us do.
It's not a fancy place by any stretch of the imagination, but I think it's good value for money and a decent location..not quite centre strip, but not too far north and plenty right around there as a starting point...having a fridge in the room is a plus and something that's pretty unusual in Vegas for a standard room...especially as you will have a car you can hit a WalMart or similar for drinks and snacks. and as mentioned before the beds and bedding are pretty nice for a mid-range place... It's always been clean and people are friendly...casino isn't as cavernous as some but is a good size...quite a few popular dining options nearby (including Stripburger and Grand Lux).
And self-park is really easy access to the rooms, which isn't always the case...we sometimes valet but when it's convenient to the room we just self-park
Are there any others that are jumping out at you and anyone who has stayed at both can maybe give you a comparison?
Thanks for the info, very insightful
Considering a few, Ti, Planet Hollywood, Palms...even a few out side the strip, the Green Valley Ranch looks nice
Must admit, looking a little lower at 100-125 a night if possible now - we went for better seats on the plane and so the kitty is looking a little bruised at the momentWe have stayed in quite a few hotels on the strip and TI for me is really good. Its not that big that it takes 20mins to get to your room like some of the bigger hotels, the beds are great, the rooms are comparable with any others we have stayed in and the location is great!!The reason it gets a younger crowd is Gilleys and Senor Frogs. Can anyone tell me the exact time UK that myvegas puts the new daily rewards on???Ive tried 3 days in a row from 3/3.15 and cannot get Aria buffetx2 as its always sold out.I did get Rock n Ritas dinner for 2 ,dont know what its like but hey its free!!!I also got the $25 dinner at Nine Fine Irishmen as this is OH favorite bar and we always end up having something to eat here even if its just a snack.
Did someone say that the monorail reward doesnt count as one of your 3 rewards or did I imagine that??!!!!P.S. The pool at TI is pants though,it is tiny!!
Sounds good thanks and indeed, pool looks titchy lol0 -

Just checked and the "friends" rate is from $149 with 2 free buffets (could be worth about $80 if for dinner) and a free upgrade to Encore plus $10 off per night if pre paid.
If interested I need you name and email, they then send you the offer0 -

Have you signed up at Smartervegas they send you unlisted promotions.
Have you looked at the Mirage? that would be my choice before TI especially if you want a good pool, the Mirage pool is one of the best0 -
We liked PH when it was Aladdin as the rooms were nice. However we only stayed once after it changed to PH as there was next to no storage, eg 3 tiny drawers, and useless unless you only had clothes for a couple of nights.0

I have now...we've been talking tonight and it looks like we'll be doing LV Sunday to Tuesday - then over to a hotel near the GC for Wednesday and then returning to LV for Thursday and Friday (although Friday I know is much more expensive).
Good job I hadnt booked anything yet0 -
well now you can try two hotels.
I do agree that there are other options for not a lot more money and depending on what you want the choice is nearly wide open...you can get a lot for your money in Vegas. GVR seems really nice - we have only been to the casino/restaurants but it looks really lovely though is quite far removed from the Strip, which for some might be a nice thing, others would prefer to be closer to heart of things for a short trip. One day I would like to try GVR - even if I have never, ever, ever done anything but lose in their casino - we still stop by almost every trip.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
