US citizens get a lot more offers by email than UK, so that may be why you haven't seen it.

Could be you are not the right level.

Could be your email isn't on file.

Have you checked your TR account online and had a look at the settings/profile

Yes, logged into account, checked everything, but no offers there :(

I agree, it probably is something like not being on the right level or something? I didn't realise that US citizens got different/more offers than us.

Ah well, just have to pay full price I guess :(

Not very impressed with their twitter account though. It took them nearly 2 days to reply, then when I tweeted them again because they hadn't really answered my question, well, they still haven't replied.

It may be this sort of thing (though US residents rather than citizens as I didn't get anything :))...we get plenty of comped rooms going into reservations after logging in but not many offers...I have some Laughlin offers at the moment though, oddly.

They are pretty good about replying via the email us link for Total Rewards - though last time I contacted them this way their inital auto-reply was something like they would be back in touch within 5 working days.

Part of me thinks it might be one of those at the box office things - when in Vegas, but if you are saying that there was a place to enter a code on ticketmaster then I don't know...it's odd that it didn't get leaked online though...did anyone get it?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I got that 'we'll be in touch within 5 working days' thing too! The offer ended on Sunday, so it'll be abit late then anyhow!

Yeah, there was a box to put a code in, I searched online for a code but couldn't find one. I'm now debating wether to buy them now, or wait until we get there, see if they're on offer, but that runs the risk of it being fully booked.

We got given a whole book of discounts at Venetian restaurants, experiences, shows etc when we checked in. Only valid for 1 week or I would offer to send them on.

Would you mind listing the discounts....assuming it was fairly recent ? :)

Less impressively the cat is still missing since .....and it turns out they actually broke into the house as we slept - grabbed the carkeys and my bank card. Pretty awful weekend all over -Police told OH there was no sign of forced entry .......however when I looked at the door -it looked to me like there was- Police sent down CSI and he agreed it was a fresh screwdriver mark - and took an impression to match up with the screwdriver found in the car.

J was convinced I must have left my keys in the door at first-which as you can imagine didn't go down well (I was pretty sure I hadn't but honestly couldn't say 100% - wasn't til I looked at the door properly I realized what had happened -I am SO !!!!!! off with the first police sergent -if I could see the mark by the lock why the heck couldn't she ) Car is still with forensics and we're both desperately looking for the cat-we've walked miles looking for her already.

No it's going to be his first trip to Vegas.

That's really awful, sorry to hear that. Have you told the police the cat is missing? Is the cat friendly? Is it remotely possible it would have let them pick it up and take it when they were in your house? I hope not. It probably just got a fright and wandered off...and will be back when it is hungry.

  • hi,
I have just booked our road trip which includes vegas flying out 5 weeks Wednesday. is it worth doing the myvegas? will there be enough time to get any discounts off or will it be a waste of time? I know ive left it late but its took all year to convince the OH.

also I know its personal opinion but we have a choice of staying at NYNY, MGM, Hard Rock (hard rock being the cheapest) Planet Hollywood but we will have hit the roads for 3 days so we want a chill out with good pools for lazying around could someone give me an idea which hotel would be best for this
    thanks

MGM has the best pools out of those, acres of them with lazy river, etc.
