If you added the fuel, check that your booking stayed as Treasure Island. Not sure if you were reading the other week when I posted about an issue I was having with their website that was changing it to Airport collection when I added the fuel. I ended up having to book over the phone. It was Carhire3000, but that is the same company as Rentalcars.com (that's the name on my voucher).

yes all was OK - I remember your issues so watched for it. I didn't add the fuel though - I scrolled down to find the price option that included it as that's what I normally do and all was fine...pick up TI drop off airport.

Has anyone tried the new drink ordering system on the machines at Palazzo yet? Is it also available at The Venetian?
Tried it about 3 months ago and it was rubbish. Ordered our drinks and waited, and waited. 15 minutes later managed to stop a CW and ordered again saying that we had used the slot to order. She said that the thing goes down all the time and they have to come out and take orders manually.
    I wouldn't chance it again.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

when we used the drinks system at Palazzo it was brilliant - so quick...and as someone who doesn't like to sit around waiting it was nice to be able to order anytime I wanted to...sorry to hear if it's not working well consistently.

We go 4 weeks today T-28, very exciting!!! Staying at Orleans 1 night, Palazzo 4 nights, Venetian 2 nights, Platinum 6 nights. I'm also wondering - when we check in at Palazzo, might it be worth a try to see if they can just leave us at Palazzo for all 6 nights instead of moving to Venetian for the last 2? I don't mind really if we have to move, but it might be nice not to. Saying that, maybe we'll get some coupons when we check in...might be worth moving. We got a few coupons in the past, anyone know if they give any lately?

We got given a whole book of discounts at Venetian restaurants, experiences, shows etc when we checked in. Only valid for 1 week or I would offer to send them on.

One tip (though you all seem experts, so a bit embarrassed to say anything here), the cheap ticket booths that are up and down the strip: The one just inside Casino Royale's (near the Venetian) never has queues.

Sorry to hear you got your car pinched :( But glad to hear they've found it, and even better, found the idiots that took it too!

Has your OH never been to Vegas before?

Less impressively the cat is still missing since .....and it turns out they actually broke into the house as we slept - grabbed the carkeys and my bank card. Pretty awful weekend all over -Police told OH there was no sign of forced entry .......however when I looked at the door -it looked to me like there was- Police sent down CSI and he agreed it was a fresh screwdriver mark - and took an impression to match up with the screwdriver found in the car.

J was convinced I must have left my keys in the door at first-which as you can imagine didn't go down well (I was pretty sure I hadn't but honestly couldn't say 100% - wasn't til I looked at the door properly I realized what had happened -I am SO !!!!!! off with the first police sergent -if I could see the mark by the lock why the heck couldn't she ) Car is still with forensics and we're both desperately looking for the cat-we've walked miles looking for her already.

No it's going to be his first trip to Vegas.

  • Awwww duchy :(

That first police officer sounds abit pants. By saying that there didn't seem to be any forced entry, would have affected any insurance claim you might have needed to make.

I hope you find your cat soon, that she just wanders back in like nothing's happened demanding her food! I'd be devastated if our cat went missing :(

Regarding your OH and his first trip to Vegas....I'm sure it won't be his last! Vegas tends to have that effect on people! :rotfl:
  • Does anyone know anything about total rewards? It mentioned that TR customers got 20% off the Rocktellz & Cocktails tickets, and that TR customers should have received an email, but we never did, and it's too late now anyhow, as the offer finished yesterday, but just wondering if certain offers only apply to certain levels?

US citizens get a lot more offers by email than UK, so that may be why you haven't seen it.

Could be you are not the right level.

Could be your email isn't on file.

Have you checked your TR account online and had a look at the settings/profile
