Yes, stayed there about 3 or 4 years ago for about 4 nights. I really liked it, rooms are really nice, atmosphere is nice (no casino) and right across from an entrance to Fashion Show Mall. You can also take their shuttle to Wynn. I don't think you can go through Fashion Show Mall late at night, I might be wrong.

The only thing I didn't like was the heat at the pool area. Due to the gold mirrored glass it feels like 10 degrees more than it is elsewhere, people were talking about it and the staff mentioned the temperature difference. It's quite severe when it's already 100 degrees. I'd definitely return though if I was going in cooler weather when it would be good to have some extra heat at the pool. There's a shaded area at the other side of the building, but I'm not even sure if there's many chairs and it's not a pool area at all. I think you have to go indoors and through the building to get from the north terrace to the pool terrace (south).

Worlds busiest Hotel on ch 4 tonight at 2000 is behind the scenes at Palazzo

    apologies if already posted

    EDIT CH 5 not 4

Just watched it now, quite interesting, just goes to show what really goes on behind the scenes!

When I phoned my Mam (she was the one who pointed out it was in tonight, or I would have missed it), she was amazed that it's the kind of place that we would like, as we don't really go out to nightclubs etc much anymore (been there done that), and that it would be far too hectic for her, but there is much more to Vegas than that. We love it for the shows, the experiences and the shopping, and basically just the atmosphere as we love the non stop action of a city!
  • Oh, and for anyone who's interested, the Meatloaf tickets have went on sale today. We tried to order some before, we are total reward members, and we're meant to get 20% off, but it asks for a code, and we haven't been sent one and can't find one?

I didn't make it all the way through. The need to manufacture artificial jeopardy in every single situation, and the need to tell us at least once every minute that it was "the world's ... busiest ... hotel!" made it far too annoying to watch.

If you had seen last weeks episode you would have noticed that they actually had toned that phrase down. But you are right, making every little thing into some sort of drama is pure American telly.
It also spent far too long on the new club opening but I assume Venetian wanted to plug that bit. Ho hum, another place for the young and trendy, us olduns just have to make due with sitting at the slots.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Ok so I'm 29 going for my 4th time later this year. My wife loved it and we did do the partying thing but a few months later my 70-yr old in laws decided to go haha! My father in law was offered a job in Sands yrs ago but had just moved to London from Italy in the 60s and mother in law didn't fancy another move. They stayed at the Venetian as that is the spot Sands used to be. They absolutely loved it out there.

    It really is for everyone!

    I didn't realize it was a series
Watched it on 5 on demand this morning which I assume was last night's (the oven broke down). OH's face was a picture as he hadn't realized how busy Vegas gets.......but it at least distracted him as car was pinched from outside the house last night. Plate recognition obviously works as he reported it at 5.15am this morning and we just had a call from the Met saying they spotted and chased it and caught the little sods who are currently languishing in the cells <yay>

What defies logic is why they pinched it for a joyride -it's a KA for goodness sake LOL
