defo keep the points! I didn't think we would go back to Vegas, but already got our flight booked for May next year, so am on a mission to build up my LP's (got 120k, but I am level 110).......

Cant recall what it is now to get 4 rewards, but think u gotta spend over $100 to make your reward count go up.... handy if u got lots of points!!

How do you guys manage to collect so many MV points? I've only got about 5k at the moment!!

We have been playing for about a year. We redeemed two last November, seven in April/ May this year and have just over 1 million lps between us for the next trip. Our chip stacks are quite healthy too. I have 2 mil and Tony has 5 mil. We are mainly planning on getting show tickets for the next trip. A lot of the food rewards have been downgraded and/or are a nightmare to claim.

Are you a member of any of the Facebook groups? There are always lots of links in those to get more chips to play with - then I pretty much just leave mine on auto for 50/100 spins.

I also go online 2/3 times a day to collect chips from the hotels I've built, and usually get around 200 LP's from those too.

I've got just over a year to go, so probably a lot of the rewards will have changed by then, but at the moment I'm looking at entry to the ice bar plus free cocktails, and tickets to the shark aquarium. And probably one of the shows. I wonder if the Michael Jackson show will be available as a reward over the next year?

I have about 34000 LP right now, but plenty of time to make more.

I haven't been playing long so probably don't know all the tricks, but I just leave it playing in the background. I just check back every so often to move the game on as it's usually gone to a bonus round and needs some input. Other than that it just keeps ticking over while I work on other things.

Has anyone been to see the Tournament of the Kings at Excalibur? I'd never really give it much thought before now, but I was on trip advisor or some Vegas site (can't remember which), and saw it advertised, so I clicked on it and thought that it looked like a fun night out? Or is it more aimed at kids?

as much as MyVegas has downgraded the rewards/increased the points requirement/removed the option to get a few extras per trip I'm planning on maximizing what I have this trip...if after I keep playing (currently questionable) then great...if not, or if they make more significant changes then I will feel like I have gotten what I could out of it.

pebbles - that's amazing how many points you guys have! I was proud with my current stash of 300k or so chips to play with - as I prefer to play in spurts...but 2 million and 5 million?! That's so impressive.

Ferf, I feel the same about the rewards, they are not as good, but still worth trying for. If they get downgraded a lot more in future, then we can be happy we got the best out of it.

Did you ever do the wagerworks thing? I only found out about that just before it ended.

We take it in turns to collect the strip and the fan pages. Also, Tony prefers collecting to playing, hence the 5 mil chip stack. He's going to have to get playing a bit though if he wants to redeem as much as possible this trip.

O Tickets * 2
Aria Dinner Buffet for 2
MGM Grand Champagne Buffet * 2

If the Michael Jackson show came up though I'd definitely go for that.

Also read that Rod Stewart is extending his run at Caesars so I'll be checking Travelzoo etc next summer for offers to see him!
