yeah, I tend to do that - that's how I found the offer... unfortunately, it was Thursday when I checked it
*doh*
maybe worth adding the rewards programs perhaps? like:
https://twitter.com/Total_Rewards
https://twitter.com/mlife
Though all the hotels within a reward group usually end up sharing each others information anyways eventually!
I personally like following the errr following:

https://twitter.com/lasvegasweekly
Absolutely, though I'll stick to 'official' accounts, otherwise it'll just become an uncontrollable bible-sized directory of Vegas-related accounts0 -
Talking of Social Media etc, I notice that Social Rewards now allows a new account to be registered by people in the UK (it appears that at present, existing accounts can't be changed from US to UK unfortunately
but you can go in and 'add' a new address in the UK... you can't subsequently remove the US address though)
This means that people that were worried about signing up to something that was US only, can now legitimately sign up and earn TotalRewards credits (i'm now on $260's worth!!!) - the other benefit is that as long as you convert points over regularly (ie. they credit within the 6 month expiry timeframe) it allows you to keep your points alive if you don't go to Vegas every 6 months, and my understanding is, because they aren't based on play, it won't affect the offers you get0 -
I don't follow the TR rewards, so wouldn't mind a hand here...
I know for Mlife (myvegas), its a case of play with my free chips and overtime, earn LP's which I can convert to free stuff next year...
Is the TR the same, play online games for free which build up points/rewards ready to transfer into free things for next year ?0 -

TotalRewards is the equivelent of mLife
SocialRewards is (kinda) the equivelent of myVegas (only in the fact its run by a third party, and not run by TotalRewards themselves!) The mechanisms for 'earning' are non-comparable though.
With SocialRewards, you just login to the site and click on 3 links per day. Each link earns you points... and we all know, that points mean prizes! (well... cash technically!)
1000 points = $10 Reward Credits on your TotalRewards card / account (you have to cash them in from SocialRewards, over to your TotalRewards account)
You can earn on average 75 points per day (most links are 25 points each, but links will range from 10 to 50 points per click and vary from posting to your facebook wall / twitter account, to watching videos etc). You get lots of one-off links that don't count for your "3 per day" either, such as for following TR casinos on twitter. Once links are clicked, they take xx amount of days before they "reset" and you can click them again. This means there are sometimes days at a time when there are no links left to click
Join TotalRewards here: --> http://t.co/YtYlczKve5 (PLEASE NOTE: this is my social rewards referral link not sure if they're allowed but if not, feel free to join via. non-referral here --> http://www.totalrewards.com/e-totalrewards/ )

Jobs a good 'un
TR Credits can be redeemed in TR properties in most restaurants, bars etc etc and the value is just subtracted from your account. So if I have $50 credit on my account, and spend $24.99 at Planet Hollywood buffet, i'll have $25.01 left in the account
Hope that helps - any questions, then please ask- i've probably made it sound more complicated than it really is, but its' a dead easy money spinner!!

Very handy breakdown, cheers! Got just over 10 months to build up some more goodies then!!0

i've updated the very first post with all the social media links for hotels/casinos.
i now have very square eyes and am quite dizzy!
i hope not, but there are bound to be a couple of broken links, i may have missed a couple of hotel/casinos, etc. so please do let me know - but by private message, so that the thread doesn't get clogged up with techy posts.
all links are taken from the hotel's websites and official sources - there may be some 'unofficial' accounts knocking about, so i've not taken any chances and just used links from the official websites.
when i've recoveredi'll look at doing the same for reward cards and some of the main attractions (Forum Shops, etc.) but am not going to do clubs, shows, etc. as there are just too many.
(ps. I couldn't post the list in the 'hotels' section as there is a 25k character limit to each individual post, and this took it over the limit)0 -
Ok, so people may or may not know that Eli Roths Goretorium has filed for bankruptcy (it's not even a year old!
) - http://www.vegaschatter.com/story/2013/7/10/11030/1780/vegas-travel/Goretorium+Files+for+Bankruptcy
anyways, up until 1st August, it appears there are some dates where you can get tickets for free via. Goldstar
I haven't logged in to verify it, but if you're interested and going between now and then, it's probably worth a look!:

I've just tried to sign up for Social Rewards using FB and keep getting this messageOops! You don't meet our minimum requirements to connect that account.
Any idea why?0 -
Probably not enough friends? i think on twitteri get it and its because i have not got 15 followers.0
-
Thanks. I don't have a Twitter account so that's probably the reason.0
