Stoneman, there was a drink included last week, and the soup has always been a cup as far as I know. About 2.5 inch diameter. We went the day you arrived, I think.

last time we went to the EI BBQ we also had to get a voucher from the players club kiosk to get the members price - pretty sure we had to enter our PIN into the kisok which we didn't remember so had to get in the queue to reset that first...though after we both went (individually as we were already seated when we realised) to get a voucher the waiter said we only needed 1 for the table.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Our waitress definitely told us a drink was no longer included so I didn't go for it. Last October we didn't need a voucher and they must have run out of small soup cups because it was so big neither of us could finish it.
Anyway back home after sleeping a full 8 hours on the plane. Who turned off the heating!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

We almost always choose the soup and its always been the same size. No drink included sucks, I would definitely complain.

One of the worst thing that could have happened did. Tracy managed to find 2 wolf Runs in Planetho, I had a good win of $92 and she got $80 out of the other machine, we played on for a bit then decided to leave as it was about 1am, and LEFT THE TICKETS IN THE MACHINES!
Realised the next day when we couldn't find the tickets and didn't remember cashing them in, then it dawned on us what we had done.

    hi all :)
Got here Ok after our mamoth trek with the planes!! All good with the transfer in Amsterdam and so on, plane was comfy too and big leg room....
Problems came at Philly, plane was delayed 1hr 20, then an issue with planes waiting to take off, so delayed another hour sat on the taxiway!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!!
So as it stood, left cardiff at 3am (and i left my wedding rings on the side too, doh!!!!), got to Vegas at 9:30pm (so just over 24hr travel, haha!!!) Adjusted to Vegas time straight away which was good though... (bought a ring in Philly, got a discount as the lady thought my story was good as to why i left my rings, ie: took em off to put hair gel on!! haha)

Got to Mandalay Bay, lady said all she can offer us is a std queen room as opposed to a king bed.. i was like "erm, according to my res, were in a 660 suite!" , she looked and said were in a normal room!!! So i showed the email on my phone from the BRG dept saying we got a suite, so lady goes off to talk to the boss, comes back and says "Were upgrading you to a 750ft Great suite", hehe!!!!! Suiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite!!!! didnt have to try the $20 trick either!!! Room is awesome, jacuzzi tub is great.. Great day today sunbathing, very windy, only downside is i got carpet burns on my foot! ;);) not good in the sun! :D:D

A quick post to say i got back today, and i'll post a bit more of a trip report in the next week or so.

    Three things though.

    - Mastro Ocean Club was amazing.
    - Hakkasan Nightclub was amazing.
    - Vegas is amazing.

stoneman -that sucks, really really sucks. I hope that the gambling gods will make it up to you next trip.

Stuie - glad to hear all went OK with the connection and congrats on the upgrade..you should take a video of the room and upload it to our group photos/videos so it's there for everyone to check out or put it up on youtube - I love looking at videos of Vegas hotel rooms when we're researching.
