Who has stayed in a Cosmo one bedroom wrap around terrace suite ? Do they all have fountain view and are they as fabulous as they look?
I have stayed in both a one bed terrace and a wraparound suite. The first time was the terrace and it did feel like a really special room, I liked the japanese soaking tub and the bed was super comfy. We didn't have a fountain view and only there for a night so wasn't too bothered. Second time we were in a wraparound for three nights, we had one balcony with Bellagio fountain views and one overlooking the Marquee day/night club pool.
The room itself is very large and plush but we specifically asked to be away from the noise of the club and weren't....it is noisy! So would make sure you are away from the club. Family were in a room slighlty higher than us and we all said that it was a better view, you could see further over Vegas. Trying to remember floor numbers and can't...sorry...
Would I pay the extra between the 2 rooms? not sure...we had a few issues the second stay so think this tainted the wraparound stay for me but if you can get a good price...go for it, it is your Honeymoon!
If you look a few pages back or under my name I posted a pic of the day pool from our wraparound balcony.
EDIT... I didn't sound very enthusiastic about the suite so just to add they are amazing and certainly the best Vegas room Ive stayed in (14th visit this year so stayed in a few!)...I had my 2 children with me so that obviously makes a difference!0 -
Duchy..pg 88 has the pool view and pg 89 has the fountain view, I had help from Stuie and NVH posting the pics cos I'm rubbish!0

hi all
Got here Ok after our mamoth trek with the planes!! All good with the transfer in Amsterdam and so on, plane was comfy too and big leg room....
Problems came at Philly, plane was delayed 1hr 20, then an issue with planes waiting to take off, so delayed another hour sat on the taxiway!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!!
So as it stood, left cardiff at 3am (and i left my wedding rings on the side too, doh!!!!), got to Vegas at 9:30pm (so just over 24hr travel, haha!!!) Adjusted to Vegas time straight away which was good though... (bought a ring in Philly, got a discount as the lady thought my story was good as to why i left my rings, ie: took em off to put hair gel on!! haha)
Got to Mandalay Bay, lady said all she can offer us is a std queen room as opposed to a king bed.. i was like "erm, according to my res, were in a 660 suite!" , she looked and said were in a normal room!!! So i showed the email on my phone from the BRG dept saying we got a suite, so lady goes off to talk to the boss, comes back and says "Were upgrading you to a 750ft Great suite", hehe!!!!! Suiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiite!!!! didnt have to try the $20 trick either!!! Room is awesome, jacuzzi tub is great.. Great day today sunbathing, very windy, only downside is i got carpet burns on my foot!not good in the sun!
Great deal on the suite Stuie, What was your car like then?0 -
Hi All
quick question, Going in just over 2 weeks getting really giddy
is it better to get show tickets before I go or get the on the strip like it has been suggested to me? Is there a massive difference in price
cheers0 -

either or, depends on what you want to see though, lots of offers on cirque shows booking in advance.
How did you get on in 2011, you asked the same question then, 2 weeks before you went0 -
Oooh didn't realise there was a group on Flickr, have added a few pics
Also didn't realise! Have added a few from last year and will put some more up after this trip. Heading off in 13 days and now staying at Cosmo Terrace Suite and Venetian Luxury Suite. Shout if anyone wants anything checking out whilst we're there.0 -

cant remember! a lot has happened since then, we got the tickets off the strip but for the life of me the prices escape me
will probably just split it depending on the ones I really want to see and the ones I'm just thinking about
thanks!0 -

hi all, quick update
Firstly, got a burgandy red Mustang Convert from Alamo rental (they had a few to choose)...... Sweeeeeeeeeet!
Downtown rocks as usual, got a standard room in Golden Nugget on 21st floor, was OK and so on
We didnt make LA for the day, got as far as 'middle of nowhere' and got bored, so turned around and came back! haha(think we was about 90 miles from Vegas)...... Bought a lotto scratch card from the lotto store outside Primm, won $10!!! but gave the card away as queue to long to cash in!!!
Played in California Downtown, OMG!!!!!!! 3 card poker, had 3x 2's!!, i walked out of that place with over $1000!!
Just checked into the Luxor, got normal room on 21st floor, $ trick dont work as there gonna be full due to some big convention.....
However, room is free, no resort fee, got food credits also, sweeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!!
spent lots in outlet malls, but currently have $400 more than i came with due to wins, so off to gun range in a mo to shoot my cash away!! hehe0 -
I'm quietly going crazy waiting to book -as we've agreed not to book before OH gets his completion date on his new place -as sods law is if we book now something will happen and the dates will all get delayed.
I'm boss-eyed looking at wedding chapels on youtube and reading reviews so have now made a short list and will stop driving myself nuts and trying to stay off smartervegas too LOLI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0
