what do people reckon about this price (now £801pp after quidco)... quidco 8% offer expires tomorrow too.
averages out at £500pp for flights and £85/night for the room...
getting those nerves about whether to book or to hold out!0 -

Not booked with them, never heard of them I dont think. Is it a great deal ?the Tropicana is cheap and what do you mean luggage and meals? You get luggage and meals on all transatlantic flights if you book direct.
I dont know how much flights are in june though, maybe £600 pp so the price is about right.
Excuse me if i am rambling though as have had a few pints0 -
well i couldnt match their price however hard i tried, and a friend who was until very recently a travel agent couldnt either, so we are pleased, and although the tropicana isnt the bellagio it isnt that cheap either.0

You did ask and I replied giving my opinon, it seems you didnt like it by your reply.
The Trop is at the lower end when it comes to price, of the strip hotels. It also IMO to far from centre strip but thats only because I dont like walking
have you priced flights only and the hotel only.
I cant as you havent posted your dates.
If you have tried and are happy with the price and choice of hotel then go for it.
EDIT
checking their website, prices do seem to be more now (think they have just been taken over).
Prices seem to be around $90 a night (£60) then of course there is the resort fee.
There may be other promotios around, I could only find one on their website.
Stuie may be able to help though, he got a great deal there last year via an email contact0 -
Did it sound like i didnt like it, sorry truly i wasnt bothered.
Yes we are very happy with it, and we have booked.

not sure the deals are still good at the Trop (Nicole was the bird to see...)
Since Hilton DTree took over, would appear the Trop has gone to crap!!!
Although thats only based on what i read, of course when i went in June 2011, it was very fresh, clean, tidy, nice, and pricey, etc!
Heard many stories since hilton took over...
Nicole Marshall is the guest manager, play your cards right and u might get a cracking deal, PM me if u want her email addy...
and that depends on whether she is still there mind!
She used to reply to peeps comments on Tripadvisor a while ago!0 -
For those that have just come back/going soon.....
and are hiring a car, were you/do u know of whether they will ask to see an IDP (international drivers permit)
I know Florida has just started asking to see one of those for car hire, not sure if Nevada state is requiring it ?0 -

I am not sure on Nevada, I've not heard that an IDP is required, but I can categorically state that one is NOT required in Florida. That got removed or repealed recently. It was all a storm in a teacup!0
