We were there early October last year. The weather was lovely. I'd definitely go for it.

has anyone been in early October? just priced up a direct flight trip with 7 nights at Vdara for £809pp (after 8% quidco cashback with ebookers)... sooo tempted, best price i've seen for a while...

shame the flights aren't a bit cheaper on their own, as booking the hotel through mlife is coming in at about £80/night

Last week flights from London with 1 stop (in JFK and only 90 minutes) in early Oct were £470 I nearly booked them and now they are £530

I hear what you are saying but with that one stop, you clear customs at the first stop and then straight off the plane in Vegas so doesnt necersarily take much/any longer

i think it's mainly the hassle involved, and added variables for the trip being delayed, connection being missed, etc... and particularly on the way back, when you're knackered and just want to get home :D
i feel more comfortable with keeping the trip as simple as possible :)

We are booked in for July for Cosmo (4 nights), M Resort (3 nights), Four Seasons (4 nights) and currently Staybridge Suites (3 nights on a freebie). We are actually now thinking that it may be better to keep our IHG points for use in London as we have Springsteen tickets for the end of June and hotels are horrendously expensive.

With this in mind, what would be your preference on the following properties for our last 3 nights (we have a car):

    Caesars (if so, what tower/room???)
    Vdara
    The Platinum
    Trump
    Palms Place
Bellagio (have all rooms been updated??)

We've done Wynn, Encore, Mandarin before so not many more we really fancy for this trip - your thoughts are much appreciated as ever x

Let me think about that for ohh, a nanosecond
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
