I keep meaning to put together a trip report of sorts and keep not managing to do it.
I did want to say that Luv It Frozen Custard is worth a trip if ice cream is your sort of thing - pretty much exactly the sort of thing we have in my hometown...I highly recommend their Western (vanilla custard unless you specify otherwise, hot fudge, caramel, pecans)...but a 'regular' is quite big - we both agreed probably too big ...we both ate it, mind, but agree that if we went back we would go for the next size down.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I need help. I am trying to book our car from TI using auto europe because they have 7% cashback. When I go through either TCB or quidco the option to pick up from TI is not there. If I don't go through the cashback sites Tresure Island becomes available. Can someone look at this and tell me I am not going nuts. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

I went through quidco, and TI wasnt there,(it is there when going direct to AE) but Paris was, along with a few other locations downtown etc, I chose city location for pick up0 -
I can't see TI either way - going through quidco or not.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

TI comes in as the last option if not going with the cashback sites so you might have to scroll down
I did - and tried it several different times in different browsers...weird...I also used a pick up time in line with ours last trip so I was sure it was during a time they were open...weird.
OK I just went back and yes, OK - I see it now if I go from the first main page and select a location...but not if I go from the landing page that quidco etc. take me to.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Well we made it!
OHs bag went walkies, though thankfully it came in on the next flight! Just waiting for it to be delivered and then we can go out. :T
Flight with AA from LHR to DFW was great with fancy new touch screen IFE and on board wifi, was a first for me! Domestic flight was fine too, got main cabin extra leg room seats, bonus! For those that have just come back/going soon.....
and are hiring a car, were you/do u know of whether they will ask to see an IDP (international drivers permit)
I know Florida has just started asking to see one of those for car hire, not sure if Nevada state is requiring it ?
I didn't need one yesterday, and only showed my photocard, not the counterpart and it was fine. And thank you so so much guys for the hint about Dollar Express, the queue was huge and we just waltzed right byGreat as everyone was tired and tempers were fraying!
Until next time... xCross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -
Has anyone been at the start of August before? I normally go in September after Labor day but this won't be a possibility any more so it'll have to be August. Will it be unbearably hot (its been high 30s when I've been in September) and will it be very crowded? I like to spend my days by the pool relaxing so if its really busy this will influence which hotel to choose.0
