hey all
got the info about shared screens on the Boeing 757 on seatguru and some other site, specifically for that flight with US Airways..... Guess its not a major issue
and yeah, with the crazy flights am looking at, the time out is around 20hrs total, but coming back gives it a 28hr travel time......
But doing the bristol to AMS, then onto LAS = £524
Did originally look at going via Dublin as seen costs as little as £473
but its ryanair to get to dublin for £120 rturn with 20kg luggage....
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !0 -
best rate guarantee for hotels. may be worth adding to the sticky?

Has anyone tried this with a website based outside the USA and priced in £s, just interested as I am not sure it would work,ie who would do the rate conversion
With CET you have to put claim in within 4 hours of booking0 -
He he he I noticed my trip report wasn't there ... Wonder why0

I thought you could change the currency to pounds on CET -although some of the guarantees have a restrictions to same currency. What's the small print say on CET ?
Must admit whenever I've used the guarantees it was dollar to dollar as I've yet to see a sterling priced site that gave me a better price than I could get quoted in dollars though (Not saying it doesn't happen -just saying that's my own experience)I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Try looking at the ferry to Dublin, that is what me and some friends are doing in June. £38 for a RailSail ticket which includes train from London to the ferry port, and then ferry over to Dublin. Unlimited luggage.0 -
sounds a plan..
I know its a ballache and so on, but we will fly from either Amsterdam or most likely Dublin... Just trying to build a puzzle picture of which option is best to take, to fit in with the hours, etc etc..... Looking at x2 20hr travel windows, 6 planes in total, for 10 nights for our budget weve chosen......
I dont mind jumping through hoops!
Plan on staying at the Golden Nugget for 3 nights or LVH for 3 nights, then do remaining 7 nights in the Excalibur...
Just looked for dublin flights, a vegas rtn is showing at £385.... 20hr flight, dublin to paris, to JKF, to Las....
Why does the UK have to suck for US flights!!!!
another thing though....
If i fly to Dublin first (say with ryanair or aer lingus), i'd have to get bags, go out of the airport as such, and then check-in again, etc to get us on our way... so i guess i should leave a few hours inbetween doing that as my 1st leg ?!0 -

Have you looked at playing the MyVegas game on facebook - is a great way to earn freebies (inc hotel rooms, food, shows) to MGM properties - i think it was bazza on here promoting it last year. After a month of playing an hour or so a day i have a 2 day stay in a suite at mandalay bay and 2 days at the mirage in September (i now need to book the weekend in between)0 -
going to it right now
cheers0
