I booked economy M+M and have bid the lowest amount it allows, my bids are upgrade to premium economy £340 outbound and £285 return, nothing to lose as I was going to upgrade on the return anyway. It seems obvious that empty seats in PE will be allocated to the highest bidders and will progressively (or is that regressively?) go down the list until they're all gone.
I noticed that to on my m+m booking for March. I couldn't believe the minimum it would let me bid, as it is almost double what i could've booked premium with m+m. Outbound was £209 extra, return is £150 with m+m.0 -

I think you're right, I didn't see the BID link until after I'd paid and checked the booking, I will be checking this out in advance next time.0 -
It's due to the high APD on flights originating in the UK.The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

something that nearly justifies the resort fees!
does it? in room internet is part of the resort fee...this will be available to anyone in public areas, not just those who pay the resort fee.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Platinum now has a grocery delivery service. Prices look OK considering you are having stuff delivered to your room and put in the fridge for when you arrive http://grocery.theplatinumhotel.com/
We have just booked for our 2 trips this year at $120 a night for. Princess suite.
