Me and 2 mates are thinking of going end of the year... but as we are 3 lads will we need to book 2 rooms?

Are there any hotels which will cater for 3 per room?

it would be worth pricing 2 rooms as well as 1 with 3 people if you're happy with either 2 of you sharing a bed or the rollaway option photome mentions...since most hotels add a surcharge for persons over 3 of $30/night or so, depending on where you're staying and whether you'll be there over the NYE period it may not be that much more for 2 rooms and would be more comfortable.

    Any tips on nice meals

Can you give an idea what you mean by nice? What type of food, what price-range?

To some a nice meal is anything that tastes good...to some a nice meal is a posh meal in a fancy restaurant...or could be anything in between...so difficult to know which category you're looking for.

There are so many dining options you'll be spoiled for choice, most likely.

Booking for April it's £680 with ba from London but £420 from Dublin assuming I get a cheap flight to Dublin stay overnight there start my journey as per normal and just dump the last leg (lgw~dub) has anyone ever had any problems doing this with BA,or does anyone foresee any problems something stoneman said in a earlier post maybe suggests its something that maybe they could charge extra for which they have in their t&c's

I've done it with Virgin with no issue ....... I made sure I had a loooooong connection at London on the return so that needing a hold bag made sense (said I would want to shower/change clothes)and no-one batted an eyelid. Not sure what is risky about it so long as you are sensible ........however it's often just as cheap to book an open jaw DUB LAS LHR and gain the benefits completely legitimately.

Only "iffy" bit is if the Ryanair flight gets cancelled -so I chose to build in a day-flew LON DUB am -went into town and did a few bits then flew the first leg DUB LON stayed at Yotel (fab for Virgin yards from check in) and flew next morning. Obviously BA is later in the day so it might not work with BA but worth a mention I think,

not wanting to argue, but I'd say ignoring any terms and conditions contains an element of risk and I don't think any of us are in a position to say something like this poses no risk :) just my opinion but history doesn't always repeat itself and you never know :)

    Just my opinion :)

On the other hand, I don't think the original poster has much grounds to say "the ppl from MSE Vegas thread said it was ok" so it's entirely down to them to justify it to themselves ;)

Knowing me, I'd forget to tell them not to check my bags all the way or something lol :D

That was what I meant by sensible ;)

Some of the posters on pirate want spoonfeeding to the extent I don't think it'd be sensible for them to do it -My biggest worry was if the plane went tech and they offered to put me on a different route back to Dublin....part of the reason I booked the extra long layover so I could claim I was using it as a stopover as I was doing business in London enroute. My mindset is a little different anyway though -I *like* flying indirect as it often offers the chance to add a day in another place (we've several times for example chosen to have a few hours or a day in NYC enroute )

Finances aren't allowing a Vegas trip atm for me so as a little bit of Vegas is coming to the UK and Ireland this month I have a mini trip to Ireland coming up and will be seeing Donny and Marie whilst there as they are touring this month. Naturally it's still MSE Flight to Belfast and back from Dublin £50 Malmaison is £70 for 2 nights in Belfast £8.99 for the train to Dublin and 2 nights in Dublin near the o2 for £70 . Just hope it doesn't snow !! ;)
