What is the cheapest time of year to go to Vegas?

Vegas is a year round destination,so its a difficult question, and if there is a large conference on then hotel prices are high.

genereally speaking though december is prob cheapest for both flights and hotels.

July and August are good months for cheap hotels as it is so hot but its dificult to get a cheap flight that time of year.

I dont like paying much more than £500 for the flight so I keep checking flight prices and book a flight when the price is right, then add hotels after, often ends up being April/May time

Always book with the hotel direct. You can cancel up to 48hrs before so you could book now and then keep an eye out for a cheaper deal at a later date, especially as I havent seen any offers for October 2013 yet.

Also, if you're on a budget, I would recommend CET (Bally's, Paris, Harrah's, Planet Hollywood, Caesars, Quad, Flamingo) as they don't charge the exorbitant resort fees. As you are suggesting NYNY, my suggestion would be either Paris or PHo.

Yeah i think we are set on PH now to be honest due to the fee's and central location, so providing we book our flights for £700 you reckon we could get a good deal near the time for PH cheaper than £200 each which is the price (ish) via expedia?
    Halifax loan - 6800 - 198 DD a month
    Barclay card 0% - £2000 - £150 DD a month

    sounds risky to me

Here is another option. Though I suspect you know about it already (as the Dub option is also listed in another post on the holiday pirates website http://www.holidaypirates.com/benelux/openjaw-flights-las-vegas-390-319 )

Leaving from another country can be MSE - especially for the more heavily taxed cabins (ie. business class) but also depends on how you value your time and the hassle involved, extra legs etc

Think he is basically doing the same thing, read a few threads on flyer talk and it seems ba have suspended a few BAEC accounts to serial offenders but not pursued anything else, these seem to be all premium travellers.Even if they will not check my luggage just to lgw on the return flight surely if i just missed the flight they would have to return the luggage to me as it cannot transit on without me on the plane

Noticed carhire3000 (carrentals) have dropped TI from being a pick-up / drop-off location... frustrating for us (as we dont require a car for full duration and dont want to faff with an airport drop-off mid-trip)... still available on Dollar.com so will have to see if CarRentals can still do it "behind the scenes"!

that's weird...very weird...seems so odd if the location still exists as Dollar. We've taken to picking up from there our last few trips - rather than picking up on arrival at the rental car facility...I am annoyed that this option has gone away.

Maybe it's known that location is changing to another company shortly - that happened when MGM properties were changing their rental car provider, they went off the CH3000 list before the change happened.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • Hi,

Thought I would say hi. Myself and Fiance are going on honeymoon to west coast and we are spending 5 nights in Vegas. We are staying at the Venetian in September. I'm very excited and trying to gather as much info as possible about Vegas. I have been once before when I was 11 so things will be very different this time.

We are going to enjoy sitting by the pool, drinking cocktails, going to look at all the hotels, shopping, enjoying nice meals.

Any tips on nice meals, good cocktails etc?

Me and 2 mates are thinking of going end of the year... but as we are 3 lads will we need to book 2 rooms?

Are there any hotels which will cater for 3 per room?

2 rooms or a room with 2 queen beds and a rollaway, the rollaways are comfortable.

even a suite would be unlikely to get you 3 proper beds, not without costing a fortune
