I was told yesterday that you don't need to give notice. Just do it when you're ready and they'll switch you straight off.

Anyone know whether you lose Sky Sports News if you cancel the Sports? My hubby is addicted to that in case there is any news about West Ham :rolleyes: (yeah, course there will be loads in close season!!) so wouldn't let me cancel for the summer if he was going to lose that channel - I've got a feeling that SS news comes with the news package rather than the sports.0

So does he.... how I hate that channel.... zzzzzzzzzz :rotfl:He sits watching it for hours and hours on a loop if he can, just in case there is the tiniest snippet of news about bloody West Ham!
By the way folks, bear in mind that there is an England Estonia Euro 2008 qualifier on 6 June, FA website says it is to be shown on Sky Sports. No more international games for England until September after that. Not sure about the other home nations though.0 -
Go to the pub if it's a one off. Suffer with the rest of the supporters...A fully functional diet; + :spam: = :dance:0

Prem Plus will be no more next season. All their games apart from 4 of them will be going to Setanta. Sky will get the other 4 to show on normal sky sports.
So no doubt Sky will increase the Sport price plus you have to pay the Setanta fee which is £15? Prem Plus was £50 for the season ticket s only £4 a month approx.
Again the customer gets rippe doff.
Just as well I have a Dream box and it's all free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
I remember when we used to have NTL Digital years ago they charged us £1.00 a month for the Prem Plus.
It's pay out pay out pay out isn't it?

Has anyone done this in the past and what do Sky offer to keep you subscribed up to the max when you don't really need it?
Any thoughts welcomed,

Ditch it in the winter when Footies on try watching Super league its much more exciting plus you can cancel for about 7 months and save more money!0
