I have been waiting for the end of the footie season before I cancel, I have Sky Sports & Prem Plus. Just signed up for Setanta Sports for £5 per month for three months then £15pm compared with the £37 I am paying now!- I very rarely watch anything other than the sport on Sky- I will now be able to watch the USPGA golf during the summer and 40+ Premiership Matches next season plus the FA Cup games from 2008

We have ditched Sky (now have Freeview and Setanta fo £10.99 per month), however when we did have Sky we always got rid of the sports during the summer.

Last year we were offered Sky Sports for 99p per month during the football close season, so it's worth haggling with them.

Sky channels 429 / 430. It's an Irish sports channel (i think) but they are upping their stake to show premiership games etc as of next season.

I do this with the movies. I have it on at Xmas, and then cancel it. I then got a "half-term" offer in February for 3 months half price movies. I've got to ring on 16h May to cancel.
Thinking of cancelling it all soon. Daughter has left home, and son is going away to college, so it'll only be me, and I prefer to read anyway!

... and with Sky movies "new" set up it means they can screen the same films on the same channels now all week. No reason to go searching for that film which you've seen already on another sky channel 3 months earlier!!! ... :rotfl:

I have always played around with this by canceling etc. Just remember to do it a month before you want it to go.

If anyone out there can point me in the direction of finding out what sky show on what No sports chanel then please help.

The reason I ask is you can get sky sports 1 and 3 for £28 a mth but just wonder what you would miss on 2 or extra?

Best is to cancel and then just ring to re activate if you want it. Remember its your money not theres!

I would like to look over the last fe wmonths to see what they have shown on what number sports chanel?
